Road and paving contractors · WhatsApp marketing

Keep the committee, the developer and the site engineer on one thread you can search.

WhatsApp marketing for a road contractor is using a business number to send quotations, site photographs and follow-ups to people who have agreed to hear from you. GullySales sets up the business profile, the saved replies and the opt-in record, so a quotation sent on WhatsApp is also written down.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For road and paving contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Quotations travel on personal phones”

The owner's phone holds the quotation, the developer's questions and the site photographs. When he is away, nobody else can find the thread.

  • “A committee forwards, it does not decide”

A society's quotation is forwarded to members in a group you will never see. It has to make sense with nothing else attached to it.

  • “Mass messages to site contacts annoy”

A broadcast about post-monsoon repairs to every contact you ever had reaches people who were suppliers or rivals. Some will block the number you need.

What we do

What we deliver for road and paving contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile that names the work

Business name, a description of the surfaces you lay, towns served and the catalogue of services, filled in once and checked against the website.

Result: The first message from a stranger reads like a company.

  2. Saved replies for the five usual questions

Rate, visit, machinery, past work and payment stages, each answered in your own words and kept ready.

Result: The same question gets the same answer from every person.

  3. An opt-in record

A sheet of who agreed to hear from you, when and how, with the site or society name beside it.

Result: You can show why a person received a message.

  4. A quotation message that stands alone

A format for the quotation as a PDF with a short covering note giving the site, surface, area and validity, readable by someone who joins the group later.

Result: A forwarded quotation still makes sense.

  5. A hand-over to the enquiry record

Each new chat is entered in the shared record with the site and the stage before the day ends.

Result: No order lives only on one phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a road contractor needs before the first WhatsApp message goes to a client.

An opt-in record per contact
Note the name, the site or society, the date and how they agreed, such as a form or a call. Do not add people from a visiting card to a broadcast list.
A Business profile with your registered name
Use the name on your registration papers, the office address or service area, and a line on the surfaces you lay. Match it to the website and the Maps profile.
Message templates for messages you start
WhatsApp approves templates for messages sent to a person who has not messaged you lately. Plan one for a quotation reminder and one for a post-monsoon check. Check WhatsApp's current rules.
Who pays for which message
Charges depend on the kind of message and on WhatsApp's current pricing. Look at it before planning a campaign, and ask whoever sets you up to show you how each category is billed.
A way to opt out
Tell every contact how to stop messages, and remove them the same day they ask. A committee member who cannot stop a message will tell the rest of the committee.
A human who replies
Name the person who answers in your working hours and what is said outside them. A client who asks about a quotation and gets silence moves to the next contractor.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the WhatsApp Business app or the API?
Start with the Business app. The API makes sense when several people must answer one number or you send approved messages to many contacts. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before deciding.
Can we join a society's WhatsApp group to pitch our work?
Only if a committee member adds you and the group's rules allow it. Pitching uninvited in a residents' group gets you removed and reported. Send your pitch to the committee directly.
Our supervisors use their own numbers with clients. Is that a problem?
It is, because the thread leaves with the supervisor. Give clients the business number and have supervisors send site photographs to it. Keep their personal numbers for the crew.
Is a catalogue useful for a road contractor?
Yes, a short one. List each surface and service with a photograph of a finished job and a line on what is included. Keep rates out of it, because they depend on the site.
Do you help us win government tenders?
We help you find notices sooner, keep your papers ready and show your past work. We do not write bids or influence anyone. Each portal's current rules decide eligibility, and your own team or a tender consultant handles the submission.
Can we show photographs of a road we laid for a developer?
Ask first and keep the answer in writing, preferably when the job is signed. Many developers agree if the layout name is not used for anything misleading. Showing a place name and a finished surface is what makes the page believable.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
