Door and window dealers · Buyer persona

Know whether the person asking for a rate is the owner, the mason or the purchase manager.

A buyer persona for a door and window dealer describes the distinct people who decide and order, from the owner-builder to the contractor's purchase manager. GullySales writes these from your own enquiries and site visits, so messages speak to what each person weighs.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Windows and doors companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Opening-wise measurement sheet. Record each opening with width, height, opening type, floor, location and a photo, taken on the surveyor’s phone at site.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For door and window dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The owner-builder decides once and worries about everything”

An owner building a first house buys doors and windows once. They fear a wrong measurement and a hidden cost. They respond to a visit, a clear quote and a dealer who explains choices without pressure.

  • “The renovating family wants minimal disturbance”

A family replacing windows lives in the house during work. Noise, dust and the number of days matter to them. They want to know how the fitting will be carried out and who will be at the door.

  • “The contractor buys against a schedule”

A contractor wants matched sets delivered when the stage requires them. Rate counts, but a missed delivery costs more. They remember the dealer who delivered on the day and answered the phone on site.

  • “The mason is a recommender, not a buyer”

The mason does not pay, yet decides where the family goes. They value a dealer who respects their work, fits what they measured and does not bypass them. Their trust shapes orders without appearing in the invoice.

What we do

What we deliver for door and window dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets for each buyer

A one-page description of each buyer: what they ask first, what they fear and what convinces them.

Result: Each sheet is written in the words your own customers use.

  2. A question map by stage

The questions each persona asks from planning to handover, with the best answer you have.

Result: The team can answer in the buyer's terms.

  3. Message versions per persona

The same offer written differently for an owner, a contractor and a designer.

Result: No one receives a message written for another buyer.

  4. An enquiry tag

A field on the register recording which type of buyer each enquiry is.

Result: Enquiries can be reviewed by buyer type.

  5. A persona review with your team

A conversation with those who meet buyers daily to correct what the sheets assume.

Result: Your own staff confirm the descriptions match real buyers.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do you build personas without surveys?
From your register, your quotes, your site visit notes and the questions your staff hear. Those are real conversations, and they are more reliable than assumptions.
Do we need a persona for every product?
No. Start with the buyers who place the largest orders and the recommenders around them. Add more only when a distinct group shows up in your enquiries.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
