Electronic components distributors · WhatsApp marketing

Let the buyer send the BOM on WhatsApp, and let a person answer it.

WhatsApp marketing for a components distributor is using the business number to receive part-number requests, confirm stock, and tell repeat buyers what has arrived, with their agreement. GullySales sets up the business profile, the opt-in record and the message formats, and routes each chat into the enquiry log.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For electronic components distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry lives on the owner's personal number”

Photographs of boards and part numbers arrive on one phone. When that person is away or leaves, nobody else can see them.

  • “A stock list is sent to everyone in the phone”

Contacts who never agreed receive a long price list, some block the number, and the buyers who wanted it are lost in the noise.

  • “Chats are answered but never recorded”

A price is quoted in a chat, the buyer says he will confirm, and no one writes down the part, the quantity or the date.

What we do

What we deliver for electronic components distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile built for part-number requests

Name, address, hours, a catalogue of the lines you hold and a greeting that asks for the part number, quantity and date.

Result: The first message from a buyer arrives with what you need to answer.

  2. An opt-in record for every contact

Who agreed to receive stock news, when and how, kept beside the contact in the log.

Result: You message only the people who asked.

  3. Message formats for the usual moments

Templates for acknowledging a BOM, confirming stock, saying a part has arrived and following up a quote, written in a counter's plain words.

Result: Replies sound like a person at the counter and carry the right facts.

  4. Rules for who answers and when

Named staff for the business number, a shared inbox if the tool allows it, and a clear hand-off when the person who started the chat is away.

Result: A buyer is never left waiting because one phone is unattended.

  5. Restock alerts by buyer type

Lists split so that a startup hears about modules and a repair shop about spares, and only when stock is real.

Result: A message from you is news to the buyer, not noise.

  6. Chats logged as enquiries

The part, quantity, date and result from each chat entered in the enquiry log the same day.

Result: A WhatsApp enquiry is counted and followed up like any other.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a components counter needs before it messages buyers on WhatsApp.

An opt-in record
Keep the name, number, date and how the person agreed. A buyer who sent a BOM has asked for a reply. He has not agreed to a price list every day.
A business profile with the counter details
Use a business account with your company name, address, hours and website. Add a greeting that asks for part number, quantity and need-by date.
Message templates for restock and quote follow-up
Write short templates, such as part arrived or quote reminder, and check the platform's current rules on approval of business-started messages before you plan campaigns.
Who pays, and for what
Business messages may carry charges depending on the type. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing, and work out a message volume you can afford before sending to a whole list.
An opt-out you honour
Tell people how to stop messages, and remove them from the list on the day. A buyer who blocks you cannot receive the shortage note he might have wanted.
A human reply path
Name who answers during counter hours and who covers lunch and leave. Automated replies should hand over to a person when a buyer sends a BOM.

  • Independent and excess-stock traders
  • Development board, module and sensor suppliers for startups and colleges

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API, or are broadcast lists enough?
Broadcast lists suit a small, consented list and a manual routine. The API suits larger volumes, shared staff access and automated acknowledgements, and comes with its own rules and charges. Start with the app, and move when staff access or volume becomes the constraint.
Can we run buyer groups for startups or repair shops?
You can, but a group shows every member's number to the others and invites chatter. A one-to-one reply or a consented broadcast is cleaner. If you do run a group, set its purpose and rules at the start and keep price talk out.
Our salesmen use their personal numbers with buyers. Is that a problem?
Yes, because the history leaves with them. Give each salesman the business number or a shared inbox, and move the buyers over with a short note. Ask staff to log the part and quantity of every chat, whichever number they use.
Can we put our full stock list on the WhatsApp catalogue?
A catalogue suits a limited range such as modules, kits and fast-moving spares. A very large list is hard to keep current, so check the platform's present limits. A stale catalogue shows parts you no longer hold, which is worse than none.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
