Gift shops · Social media

Post the gift, the price range and the way to order in the same frame.

Social media marketing for a gift shop is using Instagram and Facebook to show gifts before an occasion and turn a like into a message. GullySales works on the posts, the order route and the calendar of dates behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For gift shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A like is not an order”

People double-tap a beautiful hamper and scroll on. If the post gives no price range and no way to message, the interest dies on the screen. A gift post has to carry the next step inside it.

  • “Posting after the occasion is posting too late”

A Rakhi post on the morning of the festival reaches buyers who bought last week. The useful post goes up while the buyer is still deciding, which means the calendar must run ahead of the date.

  • “Reels of wrapping and packing sell the work”

Buyers trust a shop that shows the gift being made, the name being printed and the box being tied. Those short clips answer the worry of whether the gift will look as promised.

  • “Comments and messages are the shop counter”

A question under a post is a buyer standing at the counter. Left unanswered, it sends them to the next account. Replies, including to simple questions about price, belong in the shop's routine.

What we do

What we deliver for gift shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A calendar of gifting dates

Every occasion that matters to the shop mapped against the lead time a buyer needs, so posts go up in time.

Result: Posts appear before the buyer decides.

  2. A post format that carries price and route

A fixed layout showing the gift, the price range, the personalisation option and how to message.

Result: Each post tells the buyer what to do next.

  3. Short clips of the work

Plans for reels showing printing, wrapping and delivery, filmed on the shop's own phone or by a producer quoted separately in writing.

Result: The feed shows the gift being made.

  4. A reply routine for comments and messages

Written answers for common questions about price, delivery and personalisation, and a person named to send them.

Result: Questions on the page get an answer.

  5. Results read against your baseline

Messages, saves and orders traced to the posts and compared with the figures recorded before the work started.

Result: You see which posts led to orders.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Which platform matters more, Instagram or Facebook?
Instagram carries the gifts for younger buyers, while Facebook reaches an older family audience. We read where your own enquiries come from before deciding where the effort goes.
Do we need to post all the time?
No. A smaller set of posts that carry price and an order route beats a constant stream of posts with neither. We agree the amount that your shop can sustain and still reply on time.
Will you run our account for us?
We can plan, write and schedule the posts, with your approval on anything that names a price. Replies to buyers should come from the shop, and we agree who does that.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
