Handbag stores · Social media

Show the bag in use, with the outfit and the price, so a viewer knows what to ask.

Social media marketing for a handbag store is the use of Instagram and Facebook to show bags the way a customer would carry them. GullySales works on what to film, how to caption it and how an enquiry reaches the counter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For handbag stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A catalogue grid earns likes and no questions”

A post of a single bag on a white background looks like every supplier page. A viewer who sees the bag opened, loaded and held with an outfit has something specific to ask about.

  • “The caption should carry the price and the way to ask”

A reel that gets attention and gives no price leaves the viewer guessing. A caption naming the bag, the size and where to message turns a view into a conversation.

  • “Younger buyers check what is in fashion before they visit”

A student looks at the feed to decide the style and arrives knowing what to ask for. The shop that shows current styles in stock gets the visit, and the one that posts old pictures does not.

  • “Staff are the best presenters you have”

A salesperson who opens a bag and shows what fits inside is more believable than a stylised shot. The shop floor, the real stock and the regular staff make posts that cannot be mistaken for a supplier's.

What we do

What we deliver for handbag stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shot list for reels on the shop floor

Short videos showing a bag with an outfit, what fits inside and how it opens, planned around the stock you hold.

Result: Staff know what to film each time, and nothing depends on an idea that day.

  2. A caption pattern for every post

Name of the bag, size, material as confirmed, price and the route to ask, written the same way each time.

Result: A viewer finds the price and the enquiry route in every caption.

  3. Occasion posts for weddings, college and gifts

Posts built around the occasion, such as clutches against saree colours or backpacks for the first day.

Result: Viewers see the bag in the setting they are shopping for.

  4. A routine for replying to messages

A short set of answers on price, material, size and exchange, with a person named to reply.

Result: Every message gets a reply from the same standard of answer.

  5. Stories for new stock and back-in-stock colours

Brief stories that show arrivals and tell people who asked that a colour is back.

Result: Customers who asked for a colour see that it has arrived.

  6. A record of which posts brought enquiries

A note of the posts that led to messages or visits, kept beside the enquiry log.

Result: You can see which kind of post draws buyers and repeat it.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a creator or influencer to sell bags?
No. A local creator whose followers match your buyers can bring attention, but the shop's own reels, with real stock and clear prices, do the selling. Agree what the creator will show in writing, and check the platform's current rules on paid partnerships.
Should we post every bag we stock?
No. Choose the bags that suit the coming occasion and show them well. A feed of everything is harder to follow than a feed that shows the right bag for the season.
What do we do about customers who comment asking for the price?
Reply in the comment with the price or ask them to message, and then continue on WhatsApp or chat. A comment left unanswered tells every other viewer that nobody is there.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
