Lighting showrooms · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the pendant, the profile light and the room it is meant for.

SEO for a lighting showroom is the work of appearing on search results when a buyer looks for a chandelier, a cove light or a lighting store in their city. GullySales works on the product pages, room pages and technical basics that let a search engine read what you actually stock.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For lighting showrooms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by room and by fitting”

A homeowner types dining table pendant or living room chandelier for double height ceiling, not your brand list. Pages organised by room and ceiling height match the way the buyer thinks, and a catalogue sorted only by supplier does not.

  • “Product pages with a photo and a name only do not rank”

Two lines and a picture give a search engine nothing to read. Size, finish, bulb type, colour temperature and the rooms a fitting suits are the words a searcher uses, and the page needs them in plain sentences.

  • “City words decide who sees you”

A showroom in Hyderabad competes with every online seller for a chandelier, and wins only on the words that mark it as local. Area names, the showroom address and the neighbourhoods you deliver to belong on the page.

  • “Photographs decide whether the click is worth it”

Lighting is judged by sight. A page of product shots on white, with no picture of the fitting switched on in a room, gives the buyer a reason to go and ask a designer instead.

What we do

What we deliver for lighting showrooms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search term map by room and fitting

The phrases buyers use for each room and each type of light, matched to the page that should answer them.

Result: A sheet that links every phrase to one page on your site.

  2. Rewritten product pages

Size, finish, light colour, bulb type and room suitability written out for the fittings you want to sell first.

Result: Each priority product has a page a searcher can read in full.

  3. Room pages for living, dining, bedroom, kitchen and outdoor

Plain advice on how many fittings, what light colour and what ceiling height each room suits.

Result: A page for each room that answers what a homeowner asks the designer.

  4. Technical clean-up

Page speed on a phone, image sizes, titles, descriptions and a sitemap submitted to the search engine.

Result: A site that loads on a phone and is listed in the search console.

  5. Photographs with names and descriptions

Pictures of lit fittings in rooms, named and described so a search engine can read them.

Result: Each image carries a plain description of the fitting and the room.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need an online store to do SEO?
No. A catalogue site with specifications, photographs and a WhatsApp enquiry route can rank. An online store suits standard LED items with fixed specifications, less so a chandelier that buyers want to see lit.
How long before the site appears on search?
Nobody can state that honestly, and GullySales does not promise a ranking. The work is to make the pages readable and complete; progress shows in the search console.
Should I copy supplier descriptions onto my pages?
No. The same text appears on every dealer's page, so the search engine has no reason to prefer yours. Write what you know from selling the fitting, including what a buyer asks on the shop floor.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
