Saree shops · Website

A saree website is a showroom for the relative who cannot visit.

A website for a saree shop is a set of pages that show the weaves, the shop and the way to buy or book, for the buyer who cannot or will not walk in first. GullySales works on what the site should show, how it answers the buyer and how it feeds the enquiry sheet.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For saree shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A full online store is not the only choice”

A shop with a changing stock and mostly local buyers may not need a basket and a checkout. A catalogue site that shows weaves and takes an enquiry or a video-call booking can serve the shop better, with less to maintain.

  • “The page must show the fabric”

Close photographs of the weave, the border and the zari, shot in daylight, tell a buyer more than a long description. A website of dim, flat pictures loses the family that would have taken a chance on the shop.

  • “Phones decide the experience”

Visitors arrive on a phone, frequently from a shared link in a family chat. A site that loads slowly or needs pinching and zooming sends them back to the chat with the message that the shop looks unprofessional.

  • “A site with no next step wastes the visit”

A visitor who likes a saree needs a button that starts a WhatsApp chat with the piece already named, a form for the function date or a video-call booking. Without it, the page is a brochure and the family leaves.

What we do

What we deliver for saree shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A weave and occasion structure

Pages for each weave and for wedding, festival and gift needs, with a plain route from one to the next.

Result: A site map a buyer can follow without help.

  2. Photographs and descriptions that show the cloth

A photography guide and a description pattern covering weave, source, care and range.

Result: Pages that answer a buyer's questions about the cloth.

  3. Enquiry buttons that name the saree

A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with the piece named, and a form that asks the function date.

Result: Every enquiry arrives with a saree and a date.

  4. A video-call booking page

A page with time slots, how the call works and what happens on payment and courier.

Result: Out-of-town buyers can book without a phone call.

  5. Shop details and map

Address, hours, floor photographs and a Maps link, kept the same as the profile.

Result: A visitor knows where and when to come.

  6. A site that the shop can update

A way for the owner or a staff member to change stock and hours without a developer.

Result: A site that does not go out of date by the next festival.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these saree shops.

  • Silk saree shops selling Kanchipuram, Mysore silk and Banarasi
  • Cotton and handloom saree shops
  • Designer and party saree stores
  • Wedding trousseau and bridal saree showrooms
  • Multi-floor saree emporiums in market towns
  • Handloom cooperative society outlets
  • Family-run wholesale and retail saree houses
  • Saree shops with in-house blouse stitching

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to sell sarees online to have a website?
No. A site that shows stock, takes enquiries and books video calls is enough to begin with. Add a basket later if you can handle the stock, delivery and returns it brings.
What about payments on the site?
If you take payments, use a payment partner in ordinary use in India and set the return terms out plainly. GullySales does not handle your payment accounts.
Will a website replace our WhatsApp chats?
No. It should lead into them. The site shows the weaves and takes the first question; the chat is still where the family and the counter settle the sale.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
