Supermarkets · Website

A supermarket website answers three questions at once: where, when and what is on offer.

A website for a supermarket is the store's own page for its location, timings, offers, delivery rule and enquiry line. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the links to the listing and the chat.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For supermarkets

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The phone is the only screen that counts”

Buyers open the site on a mobile on the way to the store. Timings, a map link, a tap-to-call button and the current offers must show without scrolling through a banner.

  • “Offers must be text”

A leaflet image cannot be read by a search engine or searched by a buyer. A page of offers in text, with dates, is easier to read, easier to update and easier to find.

  • “Delivery needs its own page”

A family asks whether the store delivers to its tower, by when to order and what the minimum is. A clear page with the localities, cut-off and contact saves a call and wins an order.

  • “Branches need their own pages”

A chain's families look for the nearest store. Each branch needs a page with its address, timings, parking and phone, or the site sends the buyer to the wrong door.

What we do

What we deliver for supermarkets.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A home page built around the store visit

Address, map, timings, parking, current offers and the chat link, in the order a buyer needs them.

Result: A buyer finds the timings and directions at once.

  2. An offers page kept in text

A single page with dated offers that staff can update without a designer.

Result: The page matches the offer board in the store.

  3. A delivery page

The radius, localities, cut-off, slot and minimum order, with the enquiry route.

Result: A buyer reads the rule before calling.

  4. A page for each branch

Address, photographs, timings, parking and phone for each store.

Result: Each branch can be found on its own.

  5. An enquiry route for bulk buyers

A short form or chat link for offices, PGs, hostels and caterers, with the rate sheet request.

Result: Bulk enquiries arrive in one place with the contact details filled.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these supermarkets.

  • Single-store supermarkets of one floor in a residential locality
  • Two-floor supermarkets with a dedicated household and general merchandise section
  • Supermarkets inside apartment complexes and gated townships
  • Small chains of three to ten stores in one city
  • Supermarkets attached to a wholesale or cash-and-carry outlet
  • Family-run supermarkets in smaller towns that serve the surrounding villages
  • Cooperative and society-run supermarkets
  • Supermarkets that serve a hospital, college or industrial campus

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does a supermarket need a full online store?
Not necessarily. A store can work with a site that shows offers, delivery and a WhatsApp order route. Add a full online store only when the store can pack and deliver orders reliably.
How often should the site be updated?
Whenever the offers, timings or delivery rule change. The site should never contradict the shop floor, so give one person the job and keep the editing simple.
Can we use the site to take bulk orders?
Yes. A separate page and form for offices, hostels and caterers, linked to a rate sheet and a named contact, brings those buyers in without confusing the family offer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
