Tile, flooring and bathware dealers · Email marketing

Write to the architect and the builder, not to a family buying one floor.

Email for a tile and bathware dealer works on the trade side, where architects, interior designers, contractors and builders open a range sheet or a project quotation at their desk. GullySales builds that list from your own project records and writes the new-range and clearance mails they read.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For tile, flooring and bathware dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families answer WhatsApp, firms answer email”

A homeowner will not open a range sheet. An architect's office will not accept a quotation any other way, because it has to go into the project file.

  • “A new collection is news to a designer and noise to a family”

The people who care when a large-format range lands are the firms specifying interiors this year, and there are perhaps fifty of them near you.

  • “Discontinued lots clear through the trade”

Contractors and landlords take end-of-series stock that a retail buyer will not look at, and one short mail moves it without a public discount.

  • “Builders want the terms before the meeting”

A purchase team asks for the rate, the credit period and the phasing in writing. That is a mail, not a showroom visit.

What we do

What we deliver for tile, flooring and bathware dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A trade list built from your own records

Architects, designers, contractors and builders who have bought from or specified you, with the project and the contact person noted rather than bought in.

Result: You are writing to people who already know the showroom.

  2. A range sheet a firm can file

Sizes, finishes, brands, trade terms and lead times in one document that goes into a project folder without being retyped.

Result: Your ranges reach the specification stage.

  3. New arrival mails to the specifiers

A short mail when a collection or a slab lot lands, with photographs, sizes and the line for requesting a sample.

Result: Designers hear about it before it reaches the floor.

  4. A project supply note for builders

Stock holding, phased delivery tower by tower, breakage handling and one named contact, written for a purchase team to circulate.

Result: You are quoting on service, not only on rate.

  5. Clearance mails for end-of-series lots

The designs being discontinued, the quantity left and the rate, sent to the contractors and landlords on your list.

Result: Old stock moves without cutting current prices.

  6. Consent, replies and samples tracked

Permission recorded for every trade contact, unsubscribes handled, and opens, replies and sample requests reported against the starting position.

Result: The list stays clean and you can see what it produced.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a tile and bathware dealer needs in place before it emails architects, designers and builders.

A trade list from your own project records
Add architects, interior designers, contractors and builders you have quoted or supplied. Note the firm, the project, the range and the last contact. Do not buy a city directory.
A range sheet a firm can file
One page per range with size, finish, thickness, brand and indicative availability. A designer files it against a project, so the code and the finish name must be exact.
Samples tracked
Record who received which sample, on which date. A follow-up mail about a sample only works if you know it is on the desk.
Project quotations in the same format
Use one layout with room, quantity, wastage allowance, rate and delivery terms. A builder compares quotes side by side, and a handwritten quote loses.
Consent and a sender they recognise
Send from the dealer's name on a domain you own, with the showroom address. Keep the trade list separate from walk-in customers.
An end-of-series list
Clearance mail should name batch, quantity left and shade. Tell the reader a lot may not match later orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we buy a list of architects in the city?
No. Bought lists get marked as spam and take your domain with them, so the designer who would have replied never sees the next mail. Build it from projects you have supplied and firms who ask for samples.
How often should we write to designers?
When there is something to show: a new collection, a slab lot, a clearance. For most dealers that is every few weeks in season and less between. A rate list mailed weekly gets filed and forgotten.
Should we send photographs of every new tile?
No. Send only the ranges relevant to the reader, with the code, the size and a link to the full sheet. A designer wants three suitable options, not thirty. Sort the trade list by interest so a bathware note does not go to a flooring buyer.
What do we do when a designer asks for a sample and then goes quiet?
Send one note naming the sample code and asking whether the shade worked for the project. Offer a second sample or a site visit. If no reply, record it and leave it. Do not chase repeatedly, which damages the relationship.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
