Computer and laptop dealers · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the WhatsApp price check into a visit to the counter.

WhatsApp marketing for a computer and laptop dealer is how enquiries, stock updates, quotes and after-sale reminders are handled in the app your buyers already use. GullySales builds the replies, the lists and the consent habits so the chat leads to a store visit.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For computer and laptop dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first reply decides who gets the visit”

The buyer sends the same message to several shops. The dealer who replies with the model, what is in stock and what the price includes becomes the shop to visit. A bare price lets the buyer compare numbers and nothing else.

  • “A forwarded spec sheet is not an answer”

Dealers paste a brochure link and wait. A student wants to know whether the machine suits their course, and a parent wants to know about warranty. A reply that answers the question asked reads as help and not as a broadcast.

  • “Broadcasts to the whole contact list wear out trust”

A message about every model sent to every contact is muted or blocked. Lists split by student, business, gamer and repair customer let you send the right offer, and only to people who agreed to hear from you.

  • “Business buyers want a record in writing”

An office manager asking for a quote on WhatsApp will forward it to an owner or accountant. A tidy message with the model, quantity, GST details and validity is easy to forward. A string of voice notes is not.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and laptop dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile that answers first

Business name, address, hours, catalogue of popular models and a greeting message that asks what the buyer is looking for.

Result: A new enquirer sees a real shop with real stock.

  2. Reply templates for the questions you get daily

Saved replies for price checks, stock questions, EMI, exchange and service bookings, each ending with a reason to visit.

Result: Staff answer consistently and nothing goes out half-written.

  3. Lists split by buyer type, with consent noted

Separate lists for students, business buyers, gamers and repair customers, each with a record of how the person agreed to be contacted.

Result: Offers go only to people who asked for them.

  4. A business quote format for chat

A fixed layout for bulk quotes with model, quantity, GST details, warranty terms and validity.

Result: Quotes are easy to forward and easy to compare.

  5. Stock and festival updates sent with care

Short messages on arrivals, exchange offers and festival bundles to the right list, with an easy way to opt out.

Result: Updates reach interested buyers without annoying the rest.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The messages a laptop dealer sends on WhatsApp, and what to record when they arrive.

First reply to a model's price
Say what is in stock, what the price includes and when to visit. Ask the use and the budget, and store both against the number.
Student laptop shortlist
Send two or three machines for a named course with the configuration and the warranty terms. Keep the parent's budget in view in the same chat.
Business quote in one message
Put the model, quantity, GST details and validity in one tidy message that an owner or accountant can forward as it stands.
Service booking confirmation
Confirm the fault noted, the drop-off time and what the customer should back up. It prevents the argument at the counter about what was agreed.
Consent to hear about stock
Record the date and how the person agreed, with a plain way to stop. Only people on this list get arrival and festival messages.
Warranty and upgrade reminder
Send it from the purchase date in your record, to the buyer who bought that model. It reads as service and not as a broadcast.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and laptop dealers.

  • Multi-brand computer and laptop stores
  • Brand exclusive stores and franchises
  • Computer market dealers in trading hubs
  • Gaming PC builders and component sellers
  • Refurbished laptop and desktop sellers
  • Laptop repair and service centres
  • Corporate and institutional IT hardware suppliers
  • Printer, peripheral and accessories dealers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your contact list holds numbers collected without any agreement to hear from you, and sending offers to them risks blocks and reports
  • Nobody is assigned to the shop's WhatsApp during opening hours, so a buyer's first message would sit unanswered

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is it fine to message everyone in our contacts?
No. Send promotional messages only to people who agreed to hear from you, and give them a way to stop. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before you set up any broadcast or automation.
Should we use the WhatsApp Business app or the API?
The Business app suits a single shop with a few staff. The API, through an approved provider, suits larger volumes and shared inboxes. We help you pick after looking at how many enquiries arrive and who answers them.
Can we send the price on WhatsApp?
Yes, when asked. Send it with what is included and why a visit is worth it, such as set-up, data transfer and service desk access. A price alone is compared with an online listing and not with your shop.
Should students and offices be on the same broadcast list?
No. A student wants to hear about a course laptop and an office wants batch pricing and GST invoices. Separate lists mean each person gets something relevant, and fewer people mute the shop. Keep the consent record with each list.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
