Furniture stores and retailers · WhatsApp marketing
Someone has sent you a sofa photograph and asked whether you have it.
WhatsApp is where a furniture enquiry now starts, usually as a screenshot from Instagram with one line asking whether you make it. It is also where your quotes, measurement dates and delivery updates live. GullySales sets up the catalogue, the replies and the rules for what you may broadcast.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means
WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

Sales and marketing for furniture stores and retailers, the overview.

For furniture stores and retailers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The screenshot enquiry deserves a real answer”
A customer sends a picture they saved from Instagram and asks whether you have it. Replying please visit showroom loses the customer. A price band, two of your own pieces that come close, and an offer of a measurement visit keeps the conversation going.
“The catalogue is where WhatsApp earns its place in a furniture shop”
Your business catalogue can carry sofas, dining sets and wardrobes with price bands and finishes, browsable at eleven at night from a phone. That is how furniture is actually shortlisted now, long before anybody drives to a showroom.
“The festival broadcast to three thousand delivery numbers”
Numbers you collected to send a delivery update are not a marketing list. Send a Diwali offer to all of them and a share of your best past customers will block the number, which is the number you need when their delivery slips.
What we do
What we deliver for furniture stores and retailers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A WhatsApp Business catalogue by room
Sofas, dining sets, wardrobes and beds loaded with photographs, price bands and finish options, organised the way a customer shops.
Result: A customer shortlists from their phone at night and arrives at the showroom ready.
Saved replies for the screenshot enquiry
Prepared answers that give a price band, offer the nearest pieces you stock and ask for the room size, ready for whoever is on the shop phone.
Result: Every enquiry gets a useful answer, not an invitation to visit.
A quote and measurement thread per customer
Quotes, measurement dates and delivery updates kept in the customer's own thread and logged against the enquiry record.
Result: The conversation is not lost when the salesman is off that day.
Consent and opt-out on the broadcast list
A separate list of customers who agreed to offers, with an opt-out line on every send and a rule that delivery numbers are not added automatically.
Result: Your marketing list stays small, willing and unblocked.
An away message that captures the enquiry
An out-of-hours reply that asks for the room, the piece and the pin code, and points to the catalogue.
Result: A late enquiry arrives at the shop already half qualified.
Rules for what goes out and how often
A written limit on festival and sale broadcasts, and a list of what belongs in a one-to-one message instead.
Result: Customers keep reading your messages because you send few of them.
How the result is measured
- Messages delivered
- Reply rate
- Enquiries from WhatsApp
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What must be in place first
Settle these before the store answers or broadcasts anything.
- Two separate yeses at the bill
- Ask at billing whether you may send delivery updates, and separately whether you may send offers. Consent for delivery news does not cover the festival broadcast.
- Photographs with sizes and inclusions
- Shoot each piece in a room setting and state its dimensions, material and what the rate includes, such as delivery and assembly. A listing without sizes brings the same question every time.
- One thread for measurement and delivery
- Decide who sends measurement-visit and delivery-slot messages, and from which number. A customer waiting for a sofa wants one thread, not three staff members.
- Slot messages you start yourself
- A delivery-slot message sent after the customer's last chat may need an approved template. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before promising a message at each stage.
- Marketplace enquiries and their numbers
- Enquiries from IndiaMART or Justdial arrive as calls or texts. Reply from the Business number if the person writes, and add them to a list only after they say yes.
- A one-reply way off the offers list
- Let a customer leave the offers list with a single reply, and apply it to your billing records too. Otherwise the next festival message comes from the same list.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You have no record of who agreed to hear from the store, so a broadcast would reach people who did not ask.
- Staff reply from personal phones the store cannot see, so threads would leave with them.
How it works
How the whatsapp marketing work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Read the chats you already have
We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.
- 2
Sort the list and the permission
Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.
- 3
Choose the app or the API
One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.
- 4
Write the replies and the plan
The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.
- 5
Connect the record and test
Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.
- 6
Read the unanswered questions
A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
