Cloud hosting providers · Digital marketing

Join search, LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp so a trial is met by a person.

Digital marketing for a cloud host is the combined use of search, paid ads, LinkedIn, email and messaging to reach technical and financial buyers and carry them to a paid plan. GullySales works on how these channels join up behind workload pages and a follow-up routine.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For cloud hosting providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels fail when each runs alone”

Advertising that sends clicks to a general pricing page, search pages that lead to a form nobody reads, and emails that ignore what the buyer tested all waste the same visit. The work is in the joins between channels.

  • “A short buying list needs repeated sight of you”

A CTO shortlisting hosts sees search results, a LinkedIn post, a comparison page and an engineer's reply in the same round of looking. Each should say the same thing about support, rupee billing and data location.

  • “Paid search for hosting is expensive and specific”

Clicks on broad hosting terms are costly and bring casual traffic. Spend works harder on narrow terms for a workload, a migration or a comparison, pointing to a page written for that search.

  • “Retargeting a technical buyer needs care”

A buyer who has read your migration page does not need an advert for a starter plan. Show them the next useful thing, such as the migration enquiry sheet or a customer story in their sector.

What we do

What we deliver for cloud hosting providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan tied to workloads

A plan matching each priority workload to the channels that reach its buyer, with the page each channel points to.

Result: Each workload shows its channels and the page each channel points to.

  2. Ad accounts set up for sign-ups and enquiries

Search and LinkedIn accounts with conversion tracking for trials, migration enquiries and calls rather than clicks.

Result: The ad accounts report paid-account sources, not just clicks.

  3. Landing pages for each campaign

Pages built for a single offer, such as a rupee comparison or a migration review, with a short form.

Result: A buyer from an ad lands on a page about the offer they clicked.

  4. Email for trial and customer stages

Plain emails for new trial, idle trial, migration enquiry and upgrade due, sent from a named engineer.

Result: Each stage has a written email with a sender's name.

  5. A shared results sheet

One sheet showing sign-ups, replies, paid accounts and migrations by source, against the baseline.

Result: You can read all channels on one page and compare them.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where should a hosting company start?
With the workload pages and the trial follow-up. Advertising spends more efficiently once a buyer who arrives lands on a relevant page and meets a person. Add channels as the sheet shows where paid accounts come from.
How do we judge spend on ads?
Judge it on paid accounts and migrations, not clicks or sign-ups. Record the source on every account and compare cost against what each source brought. Cut what brings casual sign-ups only.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
