POS software providers · Search engine optimisation

Be the page an owner finds when typing billing software for their own trade.

SEO for a POS software provider is making each trade page answer the exact words an owner types, such as billing software for a pharmacy or POS for a restaurant. GullySales works on the trade pages, the comparison pages and the technical basics that let them be found.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For POS software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Owners search by trade, not by product type”

Nobody types point of sale system into the search box with a garment shop in mind. They type billing software for textile shop or pharmacy billing with expiry. A site built around a generic product word misses these searches entirely.

  • “A free app is on the same results page”

The owner comparing paid software with a free billing app reads both. A page that explains what support, backup and GST reports add gives the owner a reason to scroll past the free download.

  • “Feature names differ from trade to trade”

A restaurant reads KOT and table management, a mobile shop reads IMEI and serial number, a pharmacy reads batch and expiry. Using the trade's own words on its page is what makes the page match the search.

  • “Hardware questions bring a lot of searches”

Owners ask which printer or scanner works with the software. A compatibility page answers a real question, brings visitors who are close to buying, and gives dealers a link to forward.

What we do

What we deliver for POS software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map of trade phrases

The words each trade uses for its billing, grouped by trade and matched to the page that should answer them.

Result: Every trade has a named page for its own phrases.

  2. Trade pages with real screens

One page per trade showing the billing screen, the report and the stock view, written in that trade's vocabulary.

Result: A pharmacist sees expiry tracking, not a retail till.

  3. A comparison page against free apps

A plain page setting out what a free app and a paid system each do, including support and return-ready reports.

Result: The page states differences without attacking any named product.

  4. A hardware compatibility page

A list of tested printers, scanners and weighing scales, kept current as you test more.

Result: Dealers and owners can check a device before buying.

  5. Technical checks on the site

Page speed on a mid-range phone, clean page addresses, and a sitemap that includes every trade page.

Result: The pages can be crawled and load on the phone an owner uses.

  6. Rankings read by trade

Positions for the trade phrases you chose, recorded in a sheet beside enquiries received.

Result: You can see which trade pages bring visitors who enquire.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will one page for retail billing be enough?
One page cannot answer a pharmacist and a salon owner at once. Separate pages let each owner see familiar words, and each page can rank for its own searches.
How do we know SEO is bringing real enquiries?
Each form, call and WhatsApp message is tagged with the page it came from. The tag lets you read enquiries by trade page, not just visits to the site.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
