School management software providers · Content marketing

Write for the question a trustee asks the night before the board meets.

Content marketing for a school software company is the set of guides, comparisons, checklists and case notes that help a school decide. GullySales works on choosing the questions worth answering and shaping each piece for one reader at one stage of the decision.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For school management software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The best topics come from the demo room”

The questions principals ask in demos, such as who owns the data and what happens when a teacher leaves, are the questions a guide should answer. Content planned from keywords alone skips the real doubts.

  • “Trustees need a different document”

A trustee wants a one-page note on cost structure, records and what happens at exit. Handing that reader a feature brochure sends the decision back to the principal, who has no authority to sign.

  • “School-year timing shapes what gets read”

A checklist on choosing fee software is useful in the months before a session, and a note on preparing for report card season is useful before exams. A calendar of topics placed against the school year gives each piece its moment.

  • “Case notes need the school's agreement”

A school story helps a prospect and also names a school. Written consent from management is needed before the school is named, and numbers about its results should come from the school and not from your brochure.

What we do

What we deliver for school management software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A question-led content plan

A list of topics taken from demos, support calls and renewal chats, ordered by the stage of the decision each one serves.

Result: Each planned piece has a named reader and a question.

  2. A buyer's guide for choosing school software

A plain guide a trustee or principal can print, covering the questions to ask any vendor, yours included.

Result: A document you can send before the first demo.

  3. A data and privacy explainer

A page in plain words about where student data is held, who sees it and how it leaves with the school, checked by your own adviser.

Result: One page that answers the trustee's question on student records.

  4. Board-format and state-pattern guides

Short explainers on how report cards and timetables are handled for each board you serve, avoiding specific rules and pointing schools to their own board.

Result: Schools see that you know their board.

  5. School case notes with written consent

Short accounts of how a consenting school runs one task, with the school approving the final text before it goes out.

Result: Each case note carries the school's approval.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many articles do we need?
There is no right count. A small set that answers real buying questions beats a long list of thin posts. GullySales plans around the questions schools ask and adds pieces when a new question shows up.
Can we reuse the same content for trustees and principals?
The facts can be shared, but the opening and emphasis differ. A trustee version leads with cost, records and exit, and a principal version leads with teacher adoption and parent communication.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
