Software testing companies · Digital marketing

Choose the few channels where a product head will meet a testing firm.

Digital marketing for a testing company is the choice and coordination of channels, such as search, LinkedIn, email and events, that put your firm in front of product teams. GullySales works on picking those channels, the order they are set up in and what each is meant to bring.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For software testing companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A small bench cannot cover every channel”

A testing firm with a modest marketing capacity does better with two or three channels done well than with a presence everywhere. Pick the ones where your buyers already look, and leave the rest.

  • “Paid search suits the release-pain phrases”

Searches such as load testing before a sale or regression testing for a banking app come from buyers with a need. Paid campaigns on those phrases, sent to a matching page, are easier to judge than broad awareness spending.

  • “Email works for people you have met”

A product head who attended your talk or took a trial will read a short note on a defect pattern. A cold list bought from elsewhere does not carry that trust, and it risks your sender name.

  • “Events are part of the digital mix”

Meetups, webinars and conference talks bring in engineers and product heads, and the follow-up happens online. Treat a talk as the start of a sequence, with a page, a sign-up and a message ready.

What we do

What we deliver for software testing companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for your buyers

A written choice of channels with the reason for each, the page it leads to and the way enquiries are logged.

Result: A plan that names each channel, its purpose and its landing page.

  2. Landing pages for each campaign

Pages built for a release-pain search, a talk or an agency outreach, each with one clear next step.

Result: A page for each campaign with a single offer on it.

  3. Campaign set-up for search and LinkedIn

Account structure, phrases and messages for the chosen channels, with a note to check each platform's current rules.

Result: Accounts ready for review, with the targeting written down.

  4. Tracking by source

A way to tag enquiries by channel and domain so the CRM shows where each one began.

Result: A report of enquiries by channel that your sales lead can read.

  5. A review of what to stop

A list of activities that bring no enquiries and a decision for each, to continue or drop.

Result: A decision recorded for each activity.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should we start?
Start with the pages and the trial offer, because every channel sends buyers to them. Then add search for release-pain phrases and outreach to the teams with a visible release ahead.
How much should we spend?
That depends on your margins and the size of a typical engagement. GullySales does not set a figure here, and helps you decide a test budget and how to read the first results.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
