VLSI and chip design service companies · Content marketing

Publish what the team learned from a block, and keep the client out of it.

Content marketing for a chip design services firm means writing method notes, guides and talks that show an engineering manager how the team thinks. GullySales plans, drafts and edits them with your engineers, and checks each for confidentiality.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For VLSI and chip design service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Proof must be method”

Managers cannot see client designs, so they judge method. A note on how verification was planned for a type of block, or how a timing problem was found, is proof without a name.

  • “Senior engineers have little time”

The people with the best material are on delivery. Content planning should use short interviews and review steps rather than ask them to write.

  • “Engineers detect padding at once”

A post that explains basic terms to a reader who knows them signals a marketing team. Content should assume the reader's knowledge and go deeper.

  • “Procurement needs different content”

A vendor team looks for documents, process notes and answers to the questionnaire. This is content too, and it should be kept current and easy to send.

What we do

What we deliver for VLSI and chip design service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Method note series

Notes on specific problems in a flow, written with the engineer, with no client identifiers.

Result: A manager can judge the team's thinking.

  2. Engagement guide

A guide to engagement models, how scope is agreed and how changes are handled.

Result: A buyer compares models without a call.

  3. Vendor FAQ

Answers to the questions procurement and security teams ask, kept current.

Result: Questionnaires are answered from one source.

  4. Talk and slide library

Talks prepared for events, cleared for confidentiality, with a written version.

Result: Each talk becomes a page.

  5. Content review route

A reviewer for technical accuracy and another for confidentiality for every piece.

Result: No piece goes out unchecked.

  6. Update list

A list of pages that mention tools or versions with a named reviewer.

Result: Out-of-date statements are found and corrected.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many pieces should we publish?
Publish fewer, deeper pieces. A handful of strong method notes outweigh a long run of general posts. GullySales plans against the flows you want to be known for.
Can we publish a white paper?
Yes, if it contains method and no client data. A white paper can sit behind a request form, but a text summary on the page helps search and the reader.
Who owns the content?
The firm does. Agree with each engineer that their name appears, and check the employment terms on what they may publish. Your legal adviser should confirm.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
