VLSI and chip design service companies · Digital marketing

Aim a small budget at named managers and flows, not at the word semiconductor.

Digital marketing for a chip design services firm combines search, LinkedIn, email and the website, aimed at a small number of buyers who each matter. GullySales sets the plan by flow and account, with tracking that shows which message brought a reply.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For VLSI and chip design service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is small and known”

Only a limited set of managers and companies can buy. Broad campaigns waste money. Account-level targeting on LinkedIn and search, with a list built by flow, spends where the buyer is.

  • “Clicks are the wrong measure”

A click from a student costs the same as a click from a manager. Measure replies, vendor pack requests and calls, and judge a channel by those.

  • “Search terms are technical”

Engineers search for tools and flows. Search ads on those terms need pages that match, written for an engineer, with a clear request for a capacity conversation.

  • “Email has a place”

Short, specific emails to named managers, sent with care and permission, can start conversations. They fail when sent as a blast.

What we do

What we deliver for VLSI and chip design service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Account and flow plan

A list of target companies and flows with the channel and message for each.

Result: Spend is tied to named accounts.

  2. LinkedIn campaigns

Ads and posts aimed at roles in target companies, linking to a capability page.

Result: Managers in target firms see relevant notes.

  3. Search campaigns

Ads on specific flow and tool searches that land on matching pages, set against the platform's current rules.

Result: Technical searches reach technical pages.

  4. Landing pages

Pages for each flow with a method note and a vendor pack request form.

Result: Every campaign has a page that asks for the right action.

  5. Tracking

Tracking set up so replies, pack requests and calls are counted by source.

Result: The owner sees which channel brought a reply.

  6. Review sheet

A comparison of channels by conversations started, with a decision to add or stop.

Result: Spend decisions rest on a record.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What budget do we need?
No fixed figure. A small, focused test is enough to learn. GullySales sets the test, the goal and the review before any larger spend.
Will ads work for such a narrow buyer group?
They work as a way to keep the firm visible to named people. They do not replace direct outreach. The two are planned together.
How do we avoid students and job seekers?
By targeting roles and companies, using exclusion terms, and sending the click to a page that speaks to buyers. GullySales checks the lists for waste after the first run.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
