Mobile phone repair services · Content marketing

The questions asked at your counter are the best article titles you will ever get.

Content marketing for a repair shop is writing and publishing the answers customers ask for before they buy: what a grade means, what happens after water damage, when a phone is not worth fixing. GullySales works on turning those counter questions into pages and short guides.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For mobile phone repair services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Customers arrive with half an answer”

They have heard that a copy screen is as good as the original, or that rice saves a wet phone. A clear guide that corrects this gently builds trust before the customer reaches the counter.

  • “An honest 'not worth repairing' builds repeat custom”

A guide that says when a repair costs more than the phone is worth looks bad for revenue and good for reputation. The customer remembers the shop that advised against spending and returns for the next phone.

  • “Guides have to match the bench”

An article that praises a part you do not stock creates a quarrel at the counter. Content should describe the grades you hold and the warranty you give, so the page and the shop say the same thing.

  • “Old guides go wrong”

Models change and parts change. A guide written for a phone no longer on the street ranks for nothing and misleads. The set of guides needs an owner and a review when stock changes.

What we do

What we deliver for mobile phone repair services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of counter questions

The questions your staff answer again and again, collected from the bench and written down, which becomes the writing plan.

Result: Every guide answers a real question.

  2. A guide to part grades

A plain explanation of the original, high-copy and basic grades you stock, what each costs relative to the other and what the warranty covers.

Result: The customer can choose without feeling misled.

  3. A water damage guide

What to do in the first minutes, what not to do, and what the shop inspects, without promising recovery.

Result: People with wet phones find sensible advice.

  4. A repair-or-replace guide

How to judge whether a repair is worth the cost, in terms the customer can apply.

Result: The shop is trusted for its advice.

  5. A review round for each guide

Each guide checked against current stock and prices when the part range changes, and corrected or withdrawn.

Result: No page describes a part you no longer hold.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

Turn counter questions into guides that match what the bench does.

Is it worth repairing this phone
Age, parts and cost against a new phone, in plain steps. Written by the technician and ending with an offer to look at it.
What to do after dropping a phone in water
Switch off, do not charge, do not use rice, bring it in. A clear sequence the reader can follow while panicking.
Original, OEM and copy screens
What each means, how they differ in feel and how long the warranty runs. Match it to the grades you actually fit.
Why a phone battery drains
Software causes first, battery ageing next, a faulty part last. Ends with the checks you do at the counter.
Backing up before a repair
What to save and how, in steps for common phones. Reduces the lost-data argument at collection.
How a board repair works
What the technician looks for and why it costs more than a screen. It tells the customer why a board job is not a simple fix.

Who it is for

This is written for these mobile phone repair services.

  • Counter-style mobile repair kiosks in malls and markets
  • Neighbourhood mobile shops that repair and sell accessories
  • Board-level and water damage specialists
  • Brand-specialist shops for iPhone or one Android make
  • Repair services that also sell refurbished phones
  • Mobile shops that handle recharge, SIM and sales together
  • Doorstep phone repair services
  • Authorised service partners who also take non-warranty work

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The guides would describe repairs your bench does not offer, and a customer who arrives expecting one would be turned away.
  • No one has an hour to check the steps against the bench, and a wrong instruction does harm.
  • You plan to copy guides from other sites, which gives the customer nothing about your shop.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Topics and formats come from the content strategy and the buyer-question list. The volume goes into the written scope, agreed with you, not into a number quoted on a call.

  2. 2

    Brief and draft

Each piece starts from its one-page brief and a short conversation with your technical person, recorded if they allow it, so the draft uses their words.

  3. 3

    Check the facts

Your person marks the draft for accuracy and we correct it. Regulated subjects also go to your own adviser, because restrictions on claims apply to articles as much as to advertisements.

  4. 4

    Publish and distribute

The piece goes live on your site, then out through the channels where your buyers already are.

  5. 5

    Read the enquiries and adjust

Results are reported against the baseline recorded before work began. Topics that brought readers but no enquiries are changed or dropped. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should a repair shop write about?
Write about what customers ask: grades, warranty, water damage, battery wear and when to repair or replace. If a topic never comes up at the counter, it will rarely matter online.
How long should a guide be?
Long enough to answer the question and no longer. A clear page of plain language beats a long one padded with generic phone advice.
Can I reuse the guides in WhatsApp?
Yes. A short answer with a link to the guide is useful to send to a customer who asks. Send only to people who contacted you or who agreed to hear from you.
How do we write a guide on data and privacy?
Say what the shop does with a phone while it is on the bench, such as asking for a backup and a passcode, and what it will not do. Be plain and specific, so the customer knows how their data is handled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
