Mobile phone repair services · WhatsApp marketing

The customer's first message is a photo of a broken screen, so build the shop around WhatsApp.

WhatsApp marketing for a repair shop is using the business number to answer quotes, send job updates and keep consented customers in touch. GullySales works on the profile, the quick replies, the catalogue and the rules for who may be messaged.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For mobile phone repair services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A photo is the best enquiry”

The customer sends a picture of the damage and asks the price. A shop that answers on the same chat, with the grade options and a visit time, closes the sale before the customer opens another conversation.

  • “A personal number cannot grow with the shop”

When enquiries come to one person's phone, a missed day is a missed week of leads. A business number with set hours, an away message and shared access keeps the shop reachable.

  • “Broadcasts without consent harm the shop”

Sending offers to everyone whose number is in the phone is how a number gets reported and blocked. A message to those who agreed, with a clear way out, protects the line you depend on.

  • “A catalogue answers before the chat starts”

Listing the common repairs and grades in the business catalogue lets the customer see what the shop does. It cuts repeated questions at the counter and brings in better-informed enquiries.

What we do

What we deliver for mobile phone repair services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile that is complete

Name, address, hours, description and the Maps link filled in, so the number looks like a real shop.

Result: A new contact can see who you are.

  2. Quick replies for common questions

Saved answers on stock, grades, warranty and opening hours, edited by the counter team.

Result: Common questions are answered the same way every time.

  3. A catalogue of repairs

The repairs and part grades listed with starting ranges you are willing to keep current.

Result: Customers see what you do before they ask.

  4. An opt-in step at the counter

A simple way to record that a customer agreed to messages, stored in the job card.

Result: Your list contains only people who said yes.

  5. Rules for broadcasts

A written limit on what is sent, to whom and how a customer leaves the list. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

Result: The number stays in good standing.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Run WhatsApp so a photo of a broken screen gets a clear reply.

First reply to the photo
Name the model, say what the fault looks like and give a price range for the grade you would fit. The customer sees a shop that has looked.
Grade and warranty card
A single image listing the grades you fit, the price and the warranty. Pinned in the catalogue so staff do not retype it.
Directions and hours
Send the pin and the landmark. A customer in a market lane needs the lane, not the street name.
Quote with validity note
State the price and that parts availability can change it. It prevents the dispute when the part cost shifts.
Opt-in line
Ask at collection for permission to message about warranty and offers. Broadcasts go only to those who said yes.
Business profile details
Use the Business app with the shop name, address, hours and catalogue. A personal number cannot be shared across staff.

Who it is for

This is written for these mobile phone repair services.

  • Counter-style mobile repair kiosks in malls and markets
  • Neighbourhood mobile shops that repair and sell accessories
  • Board-level and water damage specialists
  • Brand-specialist shops for iPhone or one Android make
  • Repair services that also sell refurbished phones
  • Mobile shops that handle recharge, SIM and sales together
  • Doorstep phone repair services
  • Authorised service partners who also take non-warranty work

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The shop number is the technician's own phone, and the chat would go with them if they leave.
  • No one replies while the bench is busy, so photos would sit unanswered.
  • You would send offers to old customers who never agreed to hear from you.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I message all my old customers?
Only those who agreed to hear from you. Messaging people who did not agree risks complaints and the loss of your number. Build the list through consent at the counter from now on.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
A small shop can work well on the business app. The API suits larger set-ups with several agents. Move only when the volume of chats makes the app hard to manage.
Should I use chat automation?
Use it for the first greeting and the away message, and let a person handle the quote. A customer with a broken phone wants a reply from someone who understands the fault.
Can we send repair photos on WhatsApp?
Send photos of the part and the work, not the customer's phone content. If the customer's screen shows messages or a gallery, do not include it. Photos of the bench keep the customer's data out of the chat.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
