UI/UX design companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the quick answers a founder wants, and keep the proposal in email.

WhatsApp marketing for a UI/UX design company is the use of WhatsApp Business for first replies, scheduling and sharing case studies with founders who prefer a chat to a form. GullySales works on the profile, the saved replies, the consent to message and the rules for moving a serious buyer to a call.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For UI/UX design companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Founders in India message first and email later”

A start-up founder clicks a number on the site and writes in a line. A studio that replies on WhatsApp with a clear question keeps the conversation, while one that answers in two days through a contact form loses them.

  • “A chat is a poor place for a proposal”

Scope, price and deliverables belong in a written document. WhatsApp is for the opening exchange, a link to a case study and a time for a call. Mixing the two leaves terms scattered across a thread.

  • “Broadcast messages need permission”

Sending a list of past enquirers a message they never agreed to receive annoys them and breaks the platform's rules. Ask for consent, say what you will send, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

  • “The number belongs to the studio, not to a designer”

If the lead's personal phone holds every chat, a departure takes the history with it. A business number with labels and shared access keeps the conversations with the studio.

What we do

What we deliver for UI/UX design companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business profile

A complete profile with the studio description, a catalogue of services and the link to the discovery sprint page.

Result: A profile that explains the studio before the first message.

  2. Saved replies

Short answers for common first questions about process, the sprint, tools used and how a call is booked.

Result: Consistent first replies from any team member.

  3. Consent and list rules

A way to record permission when a prospect shares a number, and a note on what is sent to whom.

Result: A message list built on agreement.

  4. Labels and handover

Labels for enquiry, sprint and client, with a rule on when a chat moves to email and the CRM.

Result: A tidy inbox with a clear next step on each chat.

  5. Case-study share cards

Short summaries of three or four projects, each with a link, ready to send in a chat.

Result: A quick route to show relevant work in the conversation.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Use WhatsApp for short answers and meeting arrangements, and keep the proposal in email.

Meeting confirmation
The day, the time and the call link, with the agenda in one line. It reduces no-shows for a busy founder.
Quick scope answer
A short reply to 'does this fit', pointing to a case study and proposing a call. It keeps the founder moving.
Sprint access notes
What the founder must send before the first day: logins, analytics access and user contacts.
Design review nudge
A message that a prototype is ready for comment with the link, sent to the named reviewer only.
Introduction to the design lead
A note passing the founder to the person who will lead the work, so the first message is not repeated.

Who it is for

This is written for these UI/UX design companies.

  • Product design studios for start-ups
  • Mobile app design specialists
  • Enterprise and SaaS dashboard design firms
  • Design system and component library builders
  • UX research and usability testing consultancies
  • Website and landing page design studios
  • Service design firms for banks and public bodies
  • Product design teams embedded with a client by the month

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your clients prefer formal email and a message on their phone would feel intrusive.
  • You plan to send newsletters to many founders, who did not ask for them and will leave.
  • One designer owns the phone and is in client calls most of the day, so replies would arrive late.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send a newsletter on WhatsApp?
Only to people who have agreed to receive it, and subject to the platform's current rules. For a studio, a periodic email suits long pieces better, and WhatsApp suits short, personal messages.
Should the design lead answer chats personally?
For serious enquiries, yes, as founders want to speak to the person who will design. Let the studio's number handle the first reply and bring the lead in once the problem is clear.
Can we send a newsletter on WhatsApp?
Only to founders who asked to receive it, and check the platform's current rules on broadcasts. Email handles longer reading better, and founders expect it there. Use WhatsApp for the personal reply and let the newsletter stay in the inbox.
Should the design lead answer chats personally?
For the first few exchanges, yes, since the founder is judging who they would work with. Later, hand routine questions to a coordinator and keep a record in the CRM. A lead who feels passed to a stranger after a warm start may lose interest.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
