Warehousing and fulfilment providers · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a D2C founder finds when he searches for a fulfilment centre near his customers.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a warehousing provider means appearing when a founder, a marketplace seller or an operations head searches for space or fulfilment in a particular place. Those searches name a city, a service and a unit: fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi, pallet storage in Hoskote, pick and pack for Shopify stores. GullySales writes a page for each service and site and fixes what keeps them below the listing sites.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For warehousing and fulfilment providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by the place their orders ship from”

A founder sending parcels across the south types fulfilment centre near Bengaluru, not logistics services in India. A page that says strategically located matches neither search.

  • “Shared warehousing platforms rank above you”

Listing sites win the search for warehouse on rent and send one enquiry to many providers. Your own page has to answer more than a list can.

  • “Pallet storage and ecommerce fulfilment sit on one page”

A manufacturer wanting racked pallet positions and a seller wanting pick, pack and returns are different buyers, and a blended services page suits neither.

What we do

What we deliver for warehousing and fulfilment providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each service

Pallet storage, pick and pack, returns handling, kitting and marketplace prep, each written on its own page with how the work is charged (per pallet, per order, per unit) and no rates.

Result: A seller finds the page for what he is buying.

  2. A specification page for each site

City, area, covered floor in sq ft, racking, docks, power backup, the fire and pollution approvals you hold, the couriers that collect there and the pin codes it serves well.

Result: A shortlisting search lands on the site with the facts a buyer checks.

  3. An integrations page

Which marketplaces, store platforms, order management tools and courier partners you connect to, and what a new client sets up on his side.

Result: The technical question is answered before anyone calls.

  4. A page for each kind of client

D2C brands, marketplace sellers, importers and distributors, each with the questions they ask, the documents they bring and the way a first month runs.

Result: A buyer reads a page written for his own situation.

  5. A peak season page

How festival volume is planned, how much notice you need for a forecast and what happens to orders beyond the booked volume.

Result: The buyer's main fear has a written answer.

  6. Enquiries traced to each page

Calls, forms and WhatsApp messages from every service and site page, set against the baseline recorded at the audit.

Result: You see which page produced a site visit, not only a click.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a founder, a seller or an operations head types before asking for a costing, and the page that answers it.

fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi for Shopify orders
A site page naming the order management and courier tools you run with, the pin codes it serves well and a plain description of how an order moves from receiving to dispatch.
warehouse for Amazon and Flipkart sellers
A page on inbound to marketplace warehouses, labelling and prep, and returns coming back. Marketplace rules change, so tell sellers to check the marketplace's current rules.
pallet storage near an industrial area
A specification page with racking, clear height, docks, fire approvals and the nearest highway. A manufacturer wants facts to compare, not a welcome note.
RTO and returns handling for ecommerce
A page on how returns are received, inspected, graded and restocked, including wrong-item and damaged parcels. Sellers losing money on returns search for exactly this.
bonded warehouse for imported goods
Build this page only for a site you operate. State the licence and the customs location it falls under, since an importer's agent asks for both first.
own godown or fulfilment partner for a growing brand
An early explainer on when a brand should leave a rented room and what it needs ready: SKU list, order file and platform access. It meets the buyer before he writes an enquiry.

Who it is for

This is written for these warehousing and fulfilment providers.

  • Third-party warehousing providers
  • Ecommerce fulfilment centres
  • Cold chain and temperature-controlled warehousing
  • Bonded and customs warehousing
  • Distribution centres for FMCG and retail
  • Shared and on-demand warehousing platforms

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for warehousing and fulfilment providers

  1. 1

Listen to how enquiries become contracts

The free audit call traces enquiries, site visits and where proposals stall.

  2. 2

    Quote indicatively at first contact

A costing model in the reply.

  3. 3

    Get buyers to the warehouse

    A site visit routine.

  4. 4

    Follow proposals through

    A written follow-up discipline.

  5. 5

    Report on contracts, not activity

A report on enquiries, visits, proposals and contracts against the baseline taken before anything changed.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We run three sites in one city. One page or three?
One page per site when the sites differ in what they offer, such as ambient, racked or bonded space. Near-identical sites can share one page with a table. Never write a page about a site you do not operate.
Should we list on shared warehousing platforms as well?
A listing can start conversations, but the platform owns the comparison and often the buyer's first contact. Keep your own site as the page you send people to, and mark on the register which enquiries came from a listing.
Can we show photographs of our floor?
Yes, and you should. Photograph racking, pick faces, packing benches and the returns table on a working day. Keep client cartons, labels and brand names out of frame, because many clients treat their fulfilment partner as confidential.
Do we need articles about warehousing?
A few, written from questions sellers ask on every first call: what a GRN is, how a cycle count works, what happens to RTO stock. Ask your floor supervisors for the answers. Skip general supply chain essays.
Can we publish our rates?
An indicative structure, such as how cost per order is built up, helps buyers compare without committing you to a number. Exact rates depend on volume and profile.
Can we name our clients?
Only with their written permission. Many brands treat their fulfilment partner as confidential.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
