Meditation centres · Buyer persona

Know who sits in your hall and why each of them came.

A buyer persona for a meditation centre describes a type of person who books a sitting, course or retreat, and what they need to hear before saying yes. GullySales builds these from your actual students and enquiries, then shapes pages and replies around them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For meditation centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The stressed office worker wants a time slot, not a philosophy”

This buyer searches near home or office, needs an after-work hour and wants to know the session is practical. They respond to a clear timetable and a calm description, and drop out when asked to commit to a long course first.

  • “The older adult or parent arrives on a recommendation”

This person was sent by a relative, a doctor or a friend. The worry is whether the group will be gentle and unpreachy. A page that shows the room, the teacher and a plain description of a first visit answers it.

  • “The retreat buyer compares like a traveller”

This person weighs the teacher, the food, the distance, the rules and the silence. They ask several questions by message before booking, and want a full, honest page and a patient reply.

  • “The corporate buyer is not the attendee”

An HR head or founder decides for a team. They need a proposal, a sample agenda and a sense that the session suits employees of varied belief. Selling to the person who signs differs from selling to the person who sits.

What we do

What we deliver for meditation centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets

A page per buyer type: the situation, the worry, the question asked first and the page that should answer it.

Result: Each type of buyer has a written profile the centre can use.

  2. A mapping of persona to course

A simple guide pairing each buyer type with the sitting or course that suits them.

Result: A newcomer is pointed to the right entry course.

  3. Persona-specific replies

Message wording for each type, in the teacher's tone.

Result: The first reply fits who is asking.

  4. A student interview guide

A short list of questions to ask current students about why they came and what nearly stopped them.

Result: Personas rest on what students actually said.

  5. Persona-led page edits

Changes to the course pages so each opens with the worry of the buyer it serves.

Result: A page speaks to its intended reader in its opening lines.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do you build personas without inventing them?
We ask your students and read your enquiries. A persona is only written down when it appears repeatedly in what real people said. We make no claims about audience size or behaviour beyond your own records.
How many personas does a centre need?
As many as your enquiries show, no more. We stop when a new profile would not change what a page or reply says.
Do personas mean we turn some people away?
No. They help the centre speak clearly to each type of newcomer. Anyone is welcome to attend; the personas decide which page and which reply a person meets first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
