Salons and beauty studios · Pay per click advertising

Buy the bridal enquiry and the weekday slot, not the walk-in.

Paid advertising for a salon earns its place on the bookings a walk-in will never bring you, mainly bridal packages and the higher-value colour and treatment services. GullySales runs the search campaigns, sends the click to a booking, and stops the money going to job seekers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For salons and beauty studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A bridal booking pays for months of clicks”

One wedding package is worth twenty haircuts, which is what makes the bidding war on bridal makeup worth entering.

  • “Do not advertise what fills anyway”

Nobody needs to pay for haircut near me on a Saturday. Advertise the Tuesday and the treatments.

  • “Half your clicks are looking for a job”

Beautician jobs, salon vacancy and hair academy searches sit right beside yours and will empty a budget in a week.

What we do

What we deliver for salons and beauty studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split between bridal and salon services

Separate budgets and wording for bridal packages and for colour, keratin and facials, so a bridal keyword never competes with a haircut one.

Result: Neither side of the business starves the other.

  2. The click landing on a booking, not a home page

Each advert points at the page for that service with the price, the duration and a booking or WhatsApp button within reach of a thumb.

Result: A click can turn into a slot without a phone call.

  3. Negatives for jobs, courses and academies

Blocks on beautician jobs, salon vacancy, hair academy, beauty course, salon for sale and the product brand names people search when they want a bottle.

Result: The budget stops paying for people looking for work.

  4. A form that asks the date and the functions

For bridal, the wedding date, which functions need makeup, the venue city and whether a trial is wanted, all asked before anyone calls back.

Result: You know from the form itself whether you are free.

  5. Spend timed to the muhurta and festival months

Budget raised three to four months before the main wedding dates in your region and ahead of Diwali and Karva Chauth, and held back in the flat weeks.

Result: You are advertising while brides are still shortlisting.

  6. Cost per booking reported, not cost per click

Spend read against enquiries, trials booked and packages confirmed, measured against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can stop a campaign that brings calls and no bookings.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for as a salon, and the ones to keep out.

Bridal searches, such as bridal makeup artist in Jaipur
Bid. A bride choosing a makeup artist has a date and a budget. Ask for the wedding date, the venue and the number of functions on the form, so you can check the diary before replying.
Service plus locality, such as keratin treatment near Indiranagar
Bid for the higher-value services, such as colour, keratin and skin treatments. A plain haircut near me is better left to your Maps listing than paid for by the click.
Home-service searches, such as makeup artist at home
Bid only if you really send people to homes, and say your travel area on the page. If you do not, block it, because the caller will ask for a home visit and leave.
Hair colour brand and product searches
Block. Someone typing a named colour brand wants to buy a bottle, not a service. Block salon equipment, franchise and beautician course words in the same list.
Where the click lands
Send the click to the page for that service, with the price list, how long it takes and a WhatsApp button that offers slots. A bridal click goes to a bridal page with finished looks and a date form.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a booking made, a WhatsApp that names a service and a day, or a bridal form with a date. Mark the no-shows, because an advert that fills the diary with people who do not turn up is not working.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is advertising worth it for a neighbourhood salon?
For haircuts, rarely. For bridal, colour and treatments where one booking is worth thousands, it pays. We work out which of your services can carry the cost.
Should we advertise on Instagram too?
For bridal, yes, because that is where brides browse. Point the advert at a WhatsApp conversation rather than a form, since that is how a bride asks about dates.
Can a salon tell which advert brought a walk-in?
Partly. Ask at the billing desk how each new client heard of you, and keep a tick sheet. Use a separate WhatsApp number or a coded offer name for the advert, so bookings can be matched to it.
Should the advert show a bridal package price?
Show what a package includes and the starting service, but be careful with a single price. Brides compare, and a bare number invites calls that end at the figure. A form asking date and functions filters better.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
