Unisex salons · WhatsApp marketing

Take bookings for the whole family in one conversation.

WhatsApp marketing for a unisex salon is the use of WhatsApp Business to answer enquiries, confirm slots and remind customers. GullySales works on the catalogue, the replies, the group booking message and the rules for whom you message and when.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For unisex salons

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Customers ask on WhatsApp because it is already open”

A person reading your Maps listing taps the chat button. They want a price, a slot and a stylist. The reply that comes soonest and plainest takes the booking, so the first answer matters more than the greeting.

  • “A group booking needs a format”

Two friends and a child arrive in one message with three services and one preferred hour. A set reply that asks for names, services and times sorts this out in one exchange instead of ten.

  • “The catalogue replaces the repeated question”

Customers ask the same things: price of a haircut, do you do keratin, is there a room for waxing. A catalogue and quick replies answer these before the desk is touched.

  • “Permission is what keeps the number useful”

Messaging people who have not agreed, or sending too much, gets the number reported and blocked. A salon needs a list of customers who opted in and a clear way out.

What we do

What we deliver for unisex salons.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business setup

Profile, hours, address, greeting and away message written for the salon.

Result: The profile shows the right details to every visitor.

  2. A catalogue of services

Services with price ranges and photographs, grouped for men, women, children and packages.

Result: Common price questions are answered by the catalogue.

  3. Quick replies for the desk

Saved answers for slots, privacy, waxing, bridal trials and directions.

Result: Each common question has one tested reply.

  4. A group booking message

A short template that collects names, services, preferred time and stylist for a family or party.

Result: A group booking arrives as one clear message.

  5. A consent and opt-out routine

A note taken at the desk that the customer agrees to messages, and a simple way to stop them.

Result: Your broadcast list holds only people who agreed.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these unisex salons.

  • Neighbourhood unisex salons run by the owner and a few stylists
  • Family salons near schools and apartment blocks
  • Unisex salons in malls and shopping streets
  • Franchise unisex salons of regional and national chains
  • Salons in smaller towns that serve the whole family
  • Salons attached to a spa or a gym
  • Salons near colleges and workplaces
  • Salons with a kids' corner and a family package

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use broadcast lists?
Use them for people who agreed to hear from you, and only for useful news such as a seasonal slot or a reminder. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging and keep the volume low.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The WhatsApp Business app handles catalogue, quick replies and labels for a single salon. Consider the API only when message volume or several outlets outgrow it.
Who should answer the messages?
Name one person for each shift. Stylists with hands in a client's hair cannot reply, so the desk, an owner or a trained assistant should own the inbox, with the stylist consulted for slots.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
