Wellness retreats · Buyer persona

Write down who decides: the guest, the friend who invited, or the organiser.

A buyer persona for a wellness retreat describes who actually chooses and pays, and what that person worries about before sending a deposit. GullySales builds one card for each guest type you want to fill dates with, from your own enquiry history.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For wellness retreats

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The solo city professional wants a quiet reset”

A working person from a metro books a short stay near the city and worries about whether the days are rest or a timetable. The card should note the leave they can take, the travel they will accept and what makes a stay feel safe alone.

  • “The friend or couple decides together”

Two people compare the same pages and need to agree on room type and price. One of them does the writing. Know who that is, because the replies should answer their questions and be easy to forward to the other.

  • “The international guest worries about arrival”

A guest from abroad reads for visa guidance, the airport transfer, the food and the safety of the place. Missing information here ends the enquiry. The card should list the checks they make and the language they read.

  • “The corporate organiser needs approval”

An organiser for a team offsite is choosing for others and must justify the choice upward. They need a sample schedule, a room plan and a quote that an approver can read. They are a different buyer from the individual guest.

What we do

What we deliver for wellness retreats.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A persona card for each guest type

One card for each type of guest you want to fill dates with: who they are, what starts the search, what worries them and who else decides.

Result: You can name the guest each page is written for.

  2. A reading of your enquiry history

A look at your past enquiries and bookings to see who asked, what they asked and which dates they chose.

Result: The cards rest on your own record, not a guess.

  3. Questions to add to your intake

A few questions in the booking form that reveal how the guest found you and why now.

Result: Every new booking adds to the picture.

  4. Messages matched to each card

Replies and page wording written for each guest type, including the forwardable version for pairs and organisers.

Result: Each guest type receives wording that answers its worries.

  5. A review of dropped enquiries

A look at who stopped replying and at what point.

Result: You see where each guest type leaves.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many personas do we need?
Start with the guest types who fill your dates now and one you want more of. Add a card only when you can say what that guest would be told differently.
Are the cards facts about our guests?
No. They are a draft built from your history, to be checked against bookings and corrected. Rewrite any line your records do not support.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
