Yoga and pilates studios · Apartment advertising
Inside the society, your competition is the batch in the clubhouse downstairs.
Apartment advertising for a studio is the lift panel, the notice board and a demonstration class in the clubhouse of buildings inside walking distance. GullySales gets the association's approval in writing, puts the batch timings and a booking link on the board, and counts trials building by building.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What apartment advertising means
Apartment advertising is media and activity inside residential communities: the notice board, the lift panel, a Sunday stall. GullySales gets the association's written permission first, because anything put up without it comes down.

For yoga and pilates studios
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The clubhouse already has a teacher on Tuesday mornings”
Large societies run their own batch in the hall downstairs, so your board is read by residents with a cheaper option two floors below. It has to name what they do not get there, such as reformer equipment, a prenatal batch or a teacher who tracks an old back complaint.
“The timings are the advertisement”
A resident decides by whether the 6.30 batch clashes with the school drop. Put the batch times, the walking distance and a link that books a trial at that moment on the board, because the resident is standing at the lift at ten at night.
“Be careful what a class is promised to fix”
Residents with knee and back complaints are the readiest readers in the building, and a board offering to cure them is a claim your teacher has to answer for. Say what the class is, who it is not for, and ask people to bring their doctor's advice.
“A trial nobody attends is not an enquiry”
The panel counts nothing at all. A booking link per society, attendance marked against it, and a message to everyone who booked and did not arrive, is what separates forty scans from four members.
What we do
What we deliver for yoga and pilates studios.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Societies chosen by the walk, not the drive
The buildings within the distance a member will walk at six in the morning, read off the addresses of your current members rather than a vendor's list.
Result: Boards go up where people can reach the mat before class starts.
Association approval before any printing
The committee agreeing the panel, the position, the month and any charge of its own, with the clubhouse date settled at the same time if there is to be one.
Result: The print order matches the buildings that actually cleared it.
A board built around the schedule
Batch times, the class types a beginner can tell apart, the walking distance and a booking link, sized to that building's lift panel or notice board.
Result: A resident can see whether your morning batch fits the resident's day.
A demonstration class in the clubhouse
A session run with the committee's written consent at an hour residents are free, with names and numbers taken at the mat and consent for the follow-up.
Result: You leave with a list, not a good afternoon.
Claims read before they go on a wall
Copy about back pain, weight or recovery checked with your senior teacher, and worded as what the class does rather than what it cures.
Result: Nothing on the board is a promise a teacher cannot keep.
A booking link for each building
One trial link and one WhatsApp line per society, with attendance marked against the booking and a message to those who did not turn up.
Result: You renew the buildings that sent members and drop the rest.
How the result is measured
- Communities covered
- Permissions in writing
- Enquiries quoting the community code
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
How it is bought, and approved
A studio should ask what the clubhouse already hosts, what the board may say and what papers a demonstration needs.
- Committee, and the teacher already inside
- Ask the committee whether the clubhouse has a standing arrangement with a resident teacher. If it does, ask what that arrangement allows an outside studio to do.
- Which clubhouse hours are free
- Morning hours are often taken by existing batches. Ask for the free hours first, and ask whether a demonstration can run for a short stretch in the hall.
- Wording on the board, read before printing
- Describe the class, the timings and the level, not what it will cure. Read every line against what a doctor might object to, and leave out any promise about pain or weight.
- Papers for a group class
- Ask whether the society wants an own-risk note signed by participants and your insurance papers. Have both ready before the date is fixed.
- A booking link for each building
- Give each building its own booking link and ask on the form where the visitor saw the board, so trials are counted by building and not guessed at.
Who it is for
This is written for these yoga and pilates studios.
- Hatha and traditional yoga studios
- Power yoga and fitness-focused studios
- Reformer and mat pilates studios
- Prenatal and postnatal yoga specialists
- Corporate wellness and workplace yoga providers
- Yoga teacher training institutes
- Hybrid online and in-studio yoga platforms
- Multi-branch yoga and pilates chains
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The society committee bars outside classes in the clubhouse, so a notice or demonstration would be refused.
- The studio has no spare batch for new residents, so a successful demonstration would only fill a waiting list.
How it works
How the apartment advertising work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Draw the ring
We agree how far a resident will realistically come to you. For a salon that is two or three societies. For a diagnostic centre it is the whole main road.
- 2
Shortlist and verify the societies
Which are self-managed and which are under a facility company, who the gatekeeper is, which trades they allow, and what they charge on their own account.
- 3
Get permission and quote properly
Permission letters are collected first. Only then do you see a rate, and it includes the society fee rather than surprising you with it later.
- 4
Print, install and audit
Artwork goes to each format's exact size, installation is scheduled with the facility manager, and every lobby is photographed with a date.
- 5
Run the activity
The clubhouse weekend is booked inside the display month, when your name is already on the wall of the lift they came down in.
- 6
Read it society by society
Calls and walk-ins are counted per code and the list is cut. A few societies carry a campaign and the rest carry nothing, and the numbers show which.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
