Yoga and pilates studios · Pay per click advertising

Reach the person searching for a class this week, not just in January.

PPC for a yoga or pilates studio means paying for the person searching for a class in your locality this week, not for everyone scrolling past. GullySales times the spend to the January peak, when a trial membership is worth the most.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For yoga and pilates studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Seasonal timing matters more than constant spend”

A concentrated push in January and other peaks often outperforms a thin, even budget spread all year.

  • “The advertisement leads to instant booking”

An advertisement for a specific class should lead straight to booking that trial, not a general homepage.

  • “Retargeting supports the considering visitor”

Someone who viewed the schedule but did not book responds well to a reminder days later.

What we do

What we deliver for yoga and pilates studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Seasonal ad spend plan

A paid advertising budget concentrated around January and other known peaks rather than spread evenly across the year.

Result: The budget lands in January, when people are deciding to start, rather than in a quiet August.

  2. Class-specific ad campaigns

Separate advertisements for each class type, each leading straight to that class's own booking page.

Result: Someone clicking an advertisement for prenatal yoga lands on prenatal booking, not a homepage.

  3. Retargeting for undecided visitors

Advertisements shown again to someone who viewed the schedule but did not book a trial.

Result: A visitor who hesitated gets a second chance to decide.

  4. Local geo-targeting setup

Advertising restricted to the localities a studio can realistically serve.

Result: Spend reaches people close enough to actually attend a class.

  5. Advertising performance report

A report on trial bookings generated by paid advertising, broken down by class type and campaign.

Result: You know whether the prenatal class or the beginners' batch brought in the trial bookings.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for as a yoga or pilates studio, and the ones to keep out.

Class type plus locality, such as reformer pilates near Bandra
Bid. Someone naming the class and the area wants a trial nearby. Give each class type its own ad group and page, and show the timetable so the person can see a batch that fits.
Condition-led searches, such as yoga for back pain or prenatal yoga
Bid, with careful words. Describe the class and who teaches it, and say that it is not medical treatment. Suggest checking with a doctor first, and make no claim to treat or cure.
Teacher training searches, such as 200 hour yoga teacher training
Bid in a separate campaign if you run a course, with its own page and form. Trainees decide slowly, so put the syllabus, the teachers and the batch dates on the page.
Free class and video searches, such as free yoga classes or yoga at home videos
Block. These people want a free video, not a studio. Add yoga mat, yoga dress and yoga app, which are shoppers, not students.
Where the click lands
Send the click to a trial booking page for that class, with the timetable, the teacher, what to bring and a form to pick a batch. A person should be able to book a trial in a few taps.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a trial that was booked and attended, not only booked. Mark which trials became a membership, by class type and campaign, so you can see whether pilates or beginner yoga fills the studio.

Who it is for

This is written for these yoga and pilates studios.

  • Hatha and traditional yoga studios
  • Power yoga and fitness-focused studios
  • Reformer and mat pilates studios
  • Prenatal and postnatal yoga specialists
  • Corporate wellness and workplace yoga providers
  • Yoga teacher training institutes
  • Hybrid online and in-studio yoga platforms
  • Multi-branch yoga and pilates chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The booking page does not take a trial at any hour, so paid clicks would reach a form that no one answers.
  • The studio cannot take more students in the batches being advertised, and the spend would bring people it must refuse.

How it works

How the pay per click advertising work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the whole budget

We fix the total paid budget across platforms, who owns each ad account, and how much is open to moving.

  2. 2

    Audit tracking and accounts

We check that conversions fire once, that calls and WhatsApp chats are counted, and that your enquiry sheet matches what the platforms say.

  3. 3

    Set one definition of success

You and we agree what a qualified enquiry is and what an order is, so every platform is judged the same way.

  4. 4

    Build and launch the plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with shared naming and tags from day one.

  5. 5

Read search terms and lead quality

We review the queries that triggered ads and the enquiries that arrived, and remove waste before moving money.

  6. 6

    Reallocate and report

Budget moves toward what is earning, within agreed limits. Results are reported against the baseline, at the frequency agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What is a reasonable budget for a small studio?
We size it against your typical membership value and capacity in the first conversation.
Which platform works best?
Usually Instagram and Google local search, matching where people browse and where they search with intent.
Should a free first class be the offer in the advert?
It can work as a trial, but a free class attracts the curious. A low-priced trial with a named batch tends to bring people who intend to come. Test one against the other and count who turns up.
Can the advert say that yoga helps with back pain or stress?
Be careful. Health claims in advertising are limited, and a promise of relief is risky. Describe the class, the teacher and who it suits, and let a visitor ask questions on WhatsApp. Check your own professional body's guidance.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
