Yoga and pilates studios · Local SEO

Be the studio that appears when someone nearby searches for a class.

Local SEO for a yoga or pilates studio is the work of appearing in the map results and nearby searches when someone looks for a class type close to home or office. GullySales works on the Google listing, the class-type and locality pages, and the review flow behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For yoga and pilates studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search the class, then the locality”

A searcher types reformer pilates near me or prenatal yoga with an area name, not the word studio. A listing that only says Yoga studio gives Google nothing to match, so the services and the pages need each class type named plainly.

  • “The trial class is judged inside the listing”

In the evening, the searcher compares three studios on photographs, rating and whether a trial can be booked from the listing itself. A booking link that opens a page needing a phone call sends that person to the next studio on the map.

  • “The practice room photograph is the first teacher they meet”

A nervous beginner looks for floor space, light, props and reformers before reading a single review. Dark phone snaps of an empty corner say little. Clear pictures of the real room, with the teacher's name beside them, answer the unspoken question.

  • “A move or a second branch splits the listing”

A studio that shifts floors or opens a second centre often leaves an old profile live, with the old address and old timings. Students arrive at a closed door and leave a one-star review that the new listing then inherits.

What we do

What we deliver for yoga and pilates studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Class types entered as services on the listing

Hatha, Vinyasa, power yoga, mat pilates, reformer and prenatal classes are each added by name, with a plain line saying who the class suits.

Result: The listing shows the class type a searcher typed.

  2. A page for each class type and locality

One page per class type, written for the neighbourhoods the studio draws from, with the teacher, the room and the booking button on the same page.

Result: You can see which class type each nearby search lands on.

  3. Photographs of the real room and the real teachers

A set of pictures of the studio floor, the equipment, the reception and each teacher, replacing stock images and cropped phone shots. Members are not shown without their consent.

Result: A first-timer sees the room before they walk in.

  4. A trial booking link set on the profile

The listing's booking link points straight to a trial class page that confirms at once, with the phone number as the second route rather than the only one.

Result: A late-evening searcher leaves with a confirmed trial.

  5. A review request at the end of the trial

A short message sent when a member has attended a class, with the review link ready, so reviews come from people who practised and name the teacher or the class.

Result: New reviews name the class and the teacher.

  6. Timings, holidays and one profile per branch

Opening hours, festival closures and batch timings kept correct, and a separate verified profile for each branch so two centres stop competing for the same result.

Result: The nearest branch is the one that shows, with the right timings.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Local searches name a class and a place.

yoga classes near me
The map listing with the correct pin, both class types named in the description and a link to book a trial.
pilates studio near me
A listing line and a page for pilates, stating mat or reformer, because the two are searched separately.
reformer pilates class
Only if you have reformers. A page showing the number of machines, the class size and who takes the class.
yoga and pilates studio open now
Accurate hours for every batch, including holidays, so the listing does not show closed while a class is on.
prenatal yoga near me
If offered, a post and page stating the teacher, the batch and a line asking the student to check with their doctor first.
yoga studio parking
A line in the listing about parking or the nearest stop, which many callers ask first.

Who it is for

This is written for these yoga and pilates studios.

  • Hatha and traditional yoga studios
  • Power yoga and fitness-focused studios
  • Reformer and mat pilates studios
  • Prenatal and postnatal yoga specialists
  • Corporate wellness and workplace yoga providers
  • Yoga teacher training institutes
  • Hybrid online and in-studio yoga platforms
  • Multi-branch yoga and pilates chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The studio teaches in a clubhouse and a rented hall whose terms may change, so a fixed pin would point students to a place no longer used.
  • No one will ask students for reviews or reply to them, so the listing would stay thin.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the listing say yoga or pilates, or both?
Both, if both are taught. Choose the main category that matches the bulk of your classes, then add the other class types as services and in the description, so each search finds a match.
Do reviews from students really change which studio appears?
Reviews are one input among distance, relevance and profile completeness. A recent review that names a class type and a teacher also reads as proof to the searcher, which matters when three studios sit side by side.
We teach in a clubhouse and a rented hall. Can both be listed?
A location can be listed when students are served there under your own name and on fixed timings. Rented or shared venues have their own rules, so check the platform's current rules before creating a profile.
Can we use photographs of students in the room?
Only with each student's clear permission. Photograph the room, the mats, the reformers and the teacher instead. A listing with real pictures of the space reassures a beginner and avoids showing someone who did not agree to be shown.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
