GullySales

Your campaigns and your website finally work as one path to an enquiry.

Marketing funnel design maps every stage from first click to qualified enquiry, decides what each stage must do, and removes the gaps where prospects quietly drop out. You get a funnel your team can run, measure and improve.

  • One connected path from ad, search or referral to a qualified enquiry.
  • A clear job, message and next step for every stage of the funnel.
  • Stage-by-stage reporting that shows where prospects drop and why.

Gully Sales Private Limited designs and runs demand, funnel and sales systems for small and medium businesses across India.

In one paragraph

What is Marketing Funnel Design Services?

Marketing funnel design decides the stages a prospect passes through from first contact to a qualified enquiry, what each stage must offer and ask for, and how one stage carries someone to the next. Gully Sales defines those stages, writes the offer and follow-up for each, agrees with your sales team what counts as qualified, and reports conversion stage by stage every month.

The problem

You have stages between a click and a sale that nobody ever designed.

A funnel is not a thing most businesses ever decided to have. Ads were bought to bring visitors, a website was built to describe the company, and a sales team was told to follow up. Nobody ever wrote down what a prospect is supposed to learn first, what they should be offered second, and what has to be true before sales picks up the phone. So there are stages, but they were never designed, and the gaps between them are where the budget goes.

You will recognise it as

  • Ads and SEO bring visitors, but enquiries do not rise in step with traffic.
  • Nobody can say what share of visitors become leads, or which stage loses the most.
  • Every campaign sends people to the home page, which was never built to close anyone.
  • Leads arrive in three places, a form, WhatsApp and phone calls, and none are counted together.
  • Nobody can say what a prospect must know or do before an enquiry counts as ready for sales.
  • You keep spending more on traffic because it is the only lever you can see.

What it costs the business

  • Cost per enquiry climbs every quarter because more traffic is poured into the same leaky path.
  • Good prospects leave without enquiring, and you never learn they were there.
  • Budget decisions are made on gut feel because stage-level numbers do not exist.
  • The sales team's time goes on unqualified leads because the funnel never sorted them.

Why it persists. It persists because an undesigned funnel has no stages to argue about. Without named stages there is no number attached to each one, so a weak step cannot be pointed at, only suspected. Funnel problems hide well too: a stage converting at half the rate it should still produces some enquiries, so it never looks broken enough to fix, and the business buys more traffic to cover a loss it cannot locate.

If it stays unresolved. Without a designed funnel, growth stays tied to spend. Every new rupee of marketing buys the same fraction of enquiries, and the business never builds the compounding advantage of a path that converts a little better each quarter.

What changes

You get a funnel your team can see, run and improve.

In the first weeks

  • A written stage model: the stages your prospects pass through, the job of each, and the action that marks the move to the next.
  • A stage-by-stage count for a recent period, reconciled across analytics, forms, WhatsApp and calls.
  • An offer and message brief for each stage, with the copy that carries it.

In how the work runs

  • Follow-up sequences that carry a prospect from one stage to the next, with timing, channel and owner named.
  • A qualification definition marketing and sales both signed, with routing rules and a holding path for enquiries that are not ready.
  • A monthly stage report your team can read without an analyst.

In sales and marketing

  • More of the traffic you already pay for reaching a qualified enquiry.
  • Marketing budget directed at the stages and channels where the numbers show it works.

In what management can see

  • Campaign pages and content that match what a prospect needs at that stage, so search and ad visibility earns more than clicks.

Over the longer term

  • A funnel that is adjusted stage by stage each quarter, instead of a website that is rebuilt every three years.
  • Knowledge of what your prospects respond to at each stage, held in documents rather than in one person's head.

Gully Sales controls the stage model, the counts, the offers and copy, the follow-up sequences, the hand-off and the monthly report. Conversion between stages, lead quality and cost per enquiry also depend on your offer, market and follow-up, so we report them rather than promise them.

Who it is for

This is for businesses whose campaigns and sales team never hand over to each other.

The businesses it suits

  • Businesses spending on ads, SEO or both, where enquiries have not kept pace with visitors.
  • Manufacturers, distributors and B2B service firms whose sale needs several touches before an enquiry.
  • Clinics, institutes and professional practices where a booking is the conversion, not a purchase.
  • Owners who can see their traffic numbers but not what happens between a visit and a lead.
  • Businesses with a sales team that complains about lead quality, or a marketing team that complains about follow-up.
  • Companies planning a campaign or launch who want the path built before the budget is spent.

What usually prompts the call

  • A campaign is about to launch and there is no plan for where the clicks will land or what happens after.
  • Traffic rose sharply after an SEO or ads push, and enquiries barely moved.
  • A new sales head has asked where the leads come from and how many are actually qualified.
  • The website was redesigned last year and conversion did not change.
  • You are choosing between spending more on traffic and fixing what happens to it, and want the numbers first.

What Gully Sales does

The work, component by component.

Stage definition and entry criteria

We write down the stages a prospect actually passes through for your offer, from first contact to a qualified enquiry: what the person knows at each stage, what they must learn to move on, and the observable action that says they have moved.

Why it matters:
Most funnels are drawn as a triangle with labels. A stage is only usable if you can say who is in it today and what moves them out of it.
You receive:
Written stage model with the job, the entry criterion and the exit action for each stage.
Business value:
Marketing, sales and the website finally use the same words for the same prospect.

Where prospects are lost today

We count how many people reach each defined stage now, pulling numbers from analytics, ad platforms, forms, WhatsApp and call records, and reconciling them against the leads your team actually worked.

Why it matters:
A stage model is a theory until it is filled with your own numbers. The count is what turns an argument about lead quality into a figure.
You receive:
Stage-by-stage count for an agreed recent period, with the sources each number came from.
Business value:
You can name the stage that loses the most people instead of blaming the website in general.

Offer and message for each stage

For each stage we decide what is offered and what is asked in return: a specification sheet, a price band, a sample, a site visit, a callback or a booking, with the proof and the wording that make the exchange fair at that point.

Why it matters:
Most funnels ask for a sales meeting from a person who has not yet been told what things cost. Matching the ask to the stage is what raises conversion between stages.
You receive:
An offer and message brief per stage, with the copy for the page, ad or message that carries it.
Business value:
People are asked for something they are ready to give, so fewer of them stop.

Follow-up between stages

We design the sequences that carry a prospect from one stage to the next when they do not move on their own: the WhatsApp reply, the email series, the remarketing message, who sends it and how long the sequence runs.

Why it matters:
Most prospects are lost in the space between stages, not on a page. Nothing is watching that space unless somebody builds it.
You receive:
Follow-up sequences written per stage, with triggers, timing, channel and owner named.
Business value:
Interested people who were not ready this week are still in the funnel next month.

Qualification and the hand-off to sales

We agree with marketing and sales together what makes an enquiry qualified, what information must travel with it, who receives it and what happens to the enquiries that do not qualify yet.

Why it matters:
The hand-off is the one joint no vendor owns. Enquiries die there quietly, and both teams believe the other lost them.
You receive:
A written qualification definition, routing rules and a holding path for enquiries that are not ready.
Business value:
Sales works the enquiries worth working, and nothing is thrown away because it arrived early.

Stage reporting your team reads monthly

We build one report that counts enquiries from every source against the same stages, shows the conversion between each pair of stages, and names the stage that changed since last month.

Why it matters:
A designed funnel decays without a monthly reading. The report is what makes the next leak visible before a quarter is lost.
You receive:
Monthly stage report and a one-page commentary written for the owner, not the analyst.
Business value:
Budget moves to the stage the numbers point at, every month.

What you will have at the end.

  • Stage model: the stages of your funnel, the job of each, the entry criterion and the exit action.
  • Stage-by-stage count for an agreed recent period, reconciled across analytics, forms, WhatsApp and calls.
  • Offer and message brief for each stage, with the copy that carries it on the page, ad or message.
  • Follow-up sequences between stages, with trigger, timing, channel, wording and named owner.
  • Qualification definition agreed by marketing and sales, with routing rules and a holding path.
  • Page-flow and wireframe specifications for the stages whose pages must change, ready for your developer or ours.
  • Monthly stage report template and the first populated report.
  • Implementation roadmap sequencing the stage work by impact and effort, with owners named.
  • Anonymised sample stage model and report extract, shown during the audit call so you know what to expect.

How it runs

The engagement, step by step.

  1. 1

    Discovery and access

We meet your owner or marketing lead, understand the offer, the buyer and the sale, and take read access to analytics, ad accounts, forms, your CRM or lead sheet, and WhatsApp business records.

    You provide:
A one-hour conversation and access to analytics, ad accounts and lead records.
    We produce:
A written brief of your offer, buyer and primary conversion.
    Done when:
You confirm the brief and the primary conversion is agreed.
  2. 2

    Stage definition

We write the stage model with you: the stages your prospects really pass through, what each must teach or ask, and the observable action that marks the move to the next.

    You provide:
An hour with the owner or marketing lead and thirty minutes with whoever answers enquiries.
    We produce:
The written stage model with entry criteria and exit actions.
    Done when:
You and your sales lead both recognise your prospects in the model.
  3. 3

    Stage counts

We fill the model with your own numbers, reconciling analytics, ad platforms, forms, WhatsApp and call records against the leads your team actually worked in the period.

    You provide:
Lead records for the period and answers about which of them were real.
    We produce:
A stage-by-stage count with the source of every figure.
    Done when:
The counts are signed off as a fair picture of today.
  4. 4

    Offer and message design

For each stage that is losing people we decide what should be offered and what should be asked in return, and write the copy that carries it.

    You provide:
Product facts, price bands you are willing to publish and approval on the offers.
    We produce:
Offer and message brief per stage, with the copy.
    Done when:
The offers are approved and the copy is signed off.
  5. 5

    Follow-up and hand-off build

We build the sequences that move people between stages and set the qualification definition, routing and holding path with marketing and sales in the same room.

    You provide:
A decision on who owns each sequence and access to the email or WhatsApp tool that sends it.
    We produce:
Live sequences, the qualification definition and routing rules.
    Done when:
A test enquiry travels the whole path and reaches the right person.
  6. 6

    Live reading and adjustment

We watch the stage counts move for an agreed period and adjust the offers, sequences and hand-off where the numbers disagree with the design.

    You provide:
No untracked changes during the reading period and a fortnightly half hour.
    We produce:
An adjustment note for each stage that was changed and why.
    Done when:
Each adjustment has a recorded reading: kept, reversed or extended.
  7. 7

    Reporting and handover

We set up the monthly funnel report, walk your team through reading it, and hand over every document so the funnel can be run without us.

    You provide:
One person named to own the report each month.
    We produce:
Report template, first populated report and the handover pack.
    Done when:
Your team has produced one month's report on their own.

Ways to work with us

Take the stage model on its own, or have us build and run the funnel.

Stage model and counts

A fixed-scope engagement that produces the written stage model and fills it with your own numbers, with the offers and sequences specified but built by your team or your developer.

Design and build the funnel

The full programme: stage model, counts, offers and copy for each stage, follow-up sequences, the qualification hand-off and the first monthly report, built by Gully Sales.

Ongoing funnel management

A monthly cycle of stage reporting and adjustment after the funnel is live, for businesses that want it kept honest without building the skill in-house.

Campaign-linked funnel

A stage model built around one launch or campaign, from the first ad to the qualified enquiry, coordinated with our demand generation team.

Why Gully Sales

What you are actually choosing when you choose us.

We see the funnel as a sales problem, not a design one.

Gully Sales works across marketing, sales and revenue operations. The funnel does not end at the form; it ends when a qualified enquiry reaches someone who can close it, and we design for that.

Every stage carries the number behind it.

The stage model is filled with your own counts before anything is designed. You can challenge any figure, and no stage is redesigned because someone felt it was weak.

We design the gaps, not only the pages.

Most prospects are lost between stages, waiting for a follow-up nobody sends. The sequences, the timing and the owner are part of the design, not something to arrange later.

Enquiries are counted wherever they arrive.

Indian buyers enquire by WhatsApp and phone as often as by form. The stage counts and the monthly report include all of them, so the funnel reflects how your customers actually behave.

Where it applies

The same service, in different businesses.

Industrial manufacturing

The situation:
A component manufacturer gets steady traffic from search and trade directories, but most enquiries come from traders and small buyers, not the OEMs it wants.
How it applies:
Funnel stages are redefined so pages qualify the visitor early, with technical content and an RFQ path for OEM buyers and a separate route for small orders.
Likely benefit:
The sales team spends its time on the enquiries that match the business.

Healthcare and clinics

The situation:
A speciality clinic runs ads to its home page; visitors read about the doctors and leave without booking.
How it applies:
A condition-led funnel takes the visitor from symptom to treatment explanation to a booking step, with WhatsApp and call counted alongside the form.
Likely benefit:
Booking becomes the natural next step rather than a hunt for a phone number.

B2B services

The situation:
A consulting firm's website explains everything it does, and prospects cannot tell which service fits them, so few enquire.
How it applies:
Entry pages are organised by the problem a prospect has, each leading to a specific offer and a short, relevant enquiry step.
Likely benefit:
Prospects self-select into the right conversation before the first call.

Distribution and dealers

The situation:
A distributor wants dealer applications, but the same page serves end customers, dealers and job seekers.
How it applies:
Separate funnel paths for each audience, with their own qualifying questions and hand-off to the right person.
Likely benefit:
Dealer enquiries reach the channel team clean, without wading through unrelated messages.

E-commerce

The situation:
A direct-to-consumer brand gets plenty of add-to-cart actions but loses most buyers before payment.
How it applies:
The checkout stages are baselined, and friction such as unexpected delivery charges and forced sign-up is removed and tested.
Likely benefit:
More of the buyers who chose a product finish paying for it.

Proof

Work we can point to.

Premier Marketing

The problem:
The business needed to reach more domestic and industrial buyers and to handle the enquiries that followed without losing them between first contact and the sales conversation.
What we did:
Gully Sales built the complete website and the path around it, streamlining how leads are handled from arrival through to sales follow-up.
The result:
Enhanced reach, streamlined lead handling and faster sales across domestic and industrial sectors, as described in the case study.

Nanda Arthritis Center

The problem:
The centre had no website, so potential patients could not reach information about its services, and the weak online presence produced few leads and limited reach.
What we did:
Gully Sales built a responsive website, optimised it for on-page and local search, ran digital advertising and content marketing with lead capture forms, and trained staff in lead nurturing and conversion.
The result:
The study reports an established online presence, a significant increase in leads, better local and organic rankings, increased revenue following the sales training, and improved patient engagement.

Questions buyers ask

Before you enquire, the answers you will want.

What is the primary conversion, and how do you set the baseline?

The primary conversion is the single action that means a prospect has become a real lead for your business: a qualified enquiry, a booking or a paid order. We agree it with you in the first session, because everything else is measured against it. The baseline is then the number of prospects passing each stage over an agreed period of recent traffic and lead data, counted from analytics, forms, WhatsApp and call records together. It is signed off before any change is made, so improvement is measured against a figure you accepted.

How long does a marketing funnel design engagement take?

It depends on three things: how many stages your funnel has, how much traffic passes through it, and whether changes are built by us or your developer. A short booking funnel with good traffic can be baselined and improved far faster than a multi-stage B2B funnel where a test needs weeks to gather enough data. We give you a sequenced roadmap with expected durations once the baseline is done, rather than quoting a timeline before we have seen your numbers.

What do you need from my business to start?

Read access to your analytics and ad accounts, your lead records for the baseline period in whatever form they exist, a one-hour conversation with the owner or marketing lead, and thirty minutes with whoever answers enquiries. If you have a CRM or session recordings, access to those helps but is not essential. During implementation we need product facts, timely approval on copy and, if your own developer builds the changes, their time. Nothing has to be prepared specially; we work with what you have.

How is success measured?

Against the baseline, stage by stage. The headline number is qualified conversion rate: qualified enquiries as a share of visitors. Beneath it we track form completion, lead quality as accepted by your sales team, page speed on mobile, engagement on the offer pages, checkout completion for e-commerce and cost per conversion by channel. Each is compared with the same period of the baseline so seasonal swings are not mistaken for results. Movement in these figures is reported, not promised; the funnel is our deliverable, and the outcomes depend on your offer and market as well.

What is excluded from scope?

Marketing funnel design does not include buying media or running ad campaigns, writing long-form SEO content, building a new website from scratch, or setting up your CRM. It also stops at the qualified enquiry: sales follow-up process and pipeline management belong to our sales enablement services. Where one of these is needed, we say so and point you to the right service or partner. The scope letter after the audit lists exactly what is in and out, so there is no ambiguity later.

How is this different from conversion rate optimisation?

Conversion rate optimisation improves the performance of stages that already exist, usually one page at a time, through continuing tests. Marketing funnel design comes before that: it decides what the stages should be, what each one must do, where enquiries from every source are counted and where marketing hands over to sales. If your funnel is sound and you want it to keep improving, CRO is the right service. If you are not sure what the funnel is, or the stages do not connect, start here.

Most of our enquiries come by WhatsApp and phone. Can a funnel still be measured?

Yes, and it must be, because leaving them out would make the funnel look worse than it is. We set up click tracking on WhatsApp and call buttons so those actions are counted as conversions, and we reconcile the actual conversations and calls against the same stages using your business WhatsApp history and call logs. Where a source cannot be tracked automatically, a simple manual count from the person answering enquiries is included in the monthly report. The aim is one honest number, not a form-only number.

Our traffic is small. Can the stages still be counted honestly?

Yes, and small numbers often make a funnel easier to read, not harder, because each stage can be reconciled by hand against the leads your team actually worked. Where a stage carries too few people for a figure to mean anything, we say so in the report rather than presenting a percentage of eleven visits as a finding. Some months the honest answer is that a stage cannot yet be judged, and that is recorded too. What you get either way is a model your team recognises and numbers nobody has to defend.

1 more question

Who implements the changes, you or our developer?

Either. If you have a developer or agency, we provide copy, page-flow specifications and acceptance notes, review what they build and check it on real devices. If you do not, Gully Sales implements the changes on your platform. The choice is made after the audit and written into scope. What we do not do is hand over a document and disappear; each change is checked live against the specification before it is counted as done.
