Branding and graphic design studios · Email marketing

Your next project is on a list you already have.

Email for a design studio is the quiet channel back to past clients and to the architects, printers and interior designers who send you work. GullySales keeps that list in order, writes a short note around one recent project, and makes the retainer offer to the identity client from last year.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For branding and graphic design studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Last year's identity client needs a brochure now

They have forgotten you do print. The printer's in-house designer has not.

  • Referral partners forget a studio that goes quiet

Asked for a designer, an architect names whoever wrote to them last month.

  • Two hundred names you have met is a whole list

Past clients, cold enquiries and the partners in your phone. They open it because they know your work.

What we do

What we deliver for branding and graphic design studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One list built from your own contacts

Past clients, enquiries that went cold, and the architects, printers and interior designers in your phone, gathered in one place with a note on how you met.

Result: Two hundred people who know your work become a channel.

  2. A short note carrying one project

Two images, the decision behind them and a line about the business, written as the mail that goes out when there is no other news.

Result: You have something to send each month without running a newsletter.

  3. A retainer offer written for last year's clients

A mail to identity clients from the past year setting out a monthly design allowance for the posts, flyers and decks they currently send to a printer.

Result: The work going to the printer's designer comes back to you.

  4. A quarterly note to referral partners

A short mail to the architects, printers and packaging suppliers who send you work, carrying one recent project from their own category.

Result: Asked for a designer, they name you and not whoever wrote last.

  5. A rule for cold outreach that protects the domain

A handful of founders a week you have a real reason to write to, researched and written one at a time, instead of a bought list.

Result: Your mail keeps reaching the inbox.

  6. Opens, replies and projects reported monthly

What each send produced, traced to the mail that started it and measured against the baseline recorded at the audit.

Result: You know which of your two lists is worth the time.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for branding and graphic design studios

  1. 1

    Assess

During the free audit we review where your last projects came from, how quotes were decided, how many revision rounds each took, and which clients came back.

  2. 2

    Package the work

Scoped packages, a paid discovery stage and a revision policy written down before the next quote goes out.

  3. 3

    Rebuild the portfolio

Case pages grouped by project type, with the brief and thinking behind each piece.

  4. 4

    Grow referrals

Partner relationships with architects, interior designers, printers and incubators, tracked so none go quiet.

  5. 5

    Keep the client

A handover conversation and retainer offer so the next brochure, pack or signboard comes back to the studio.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we send when there is no news?
One project and the decision behind it. Two images and a paragraph is enough.
Can we email founders we have never met?
A handful a week you have a reason to write to. A bought list takes your domain with it.
How do we justify our fee against cheap online logos?
Show what the fee buys beyond the file. A cheap logo comes with no trademark check, no guidelines and no artwork sized for the signboard. A scoped package lists those lines, so the founder sees what the gig-site price leaves out.
Should we check trademarks before presenting a name?
Yes, at least a basic public search of the trademark registry in the client's class. Add a note that a formal search and filing belong with a trademark attorney. It saves the client from falling in love with a name they cannot protect.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
