Branding and graphic design studios · Social media

Likes from other designers do not pay the studio's rent.

Social media for a design studio is the portfolio a buyer sees before the website, spread across Instagram, Behance, Dribbble and LinkedIn. GullySales decides what each of those is for, plans posts that show the thinking behind the work, and tracks which one a paying enquiry came from.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For branding and graphic design studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Designers are not the audience, founders are

Behance and Dribbble reach your peers. The restaurant owner opening a second outlet is not.

  • The rejected route is the better post

What you tried and dropped tells a founder what they would be paying for.

  • The work goes up months after it goes live

Agree the posting date with the client at handover, while the launch still matters.

What we do

What we deliver for branding and graphic design studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One job for each platform, written down

Instagram for founders, Behance as the portfolio link, LinkedIn for the packaging and corporate work, and permission to ignore the rest.

Result: Nobody is feeding four accounts badly.

  2. A posting date agreed at handover

The client's launch date, and the date you may publish, written into the handover note instead of chased by message months afterwards.

Result: The work goes up while it is still news.

  3. Posts built from the routes you dropped

The directions you showed and the client did not take, with the reasoning, prepared as carousels from projects already delivered.

Result: A founder sees what the thinking is worth.

  4. A caption structure written for founders

Each post opening with the business problem and the constraint the client set, before any mention of type or palette.

Result: The restaurant owner reading it understands what they would be buying.

  5. A month of posts banked before project week

Material written and scheduled in advance, so the account keeps moving through the fortnight you are at the screen until midnight.

Result: The feed does not go quiet exactly when you are doing your best work.

  6. Enquiries counted by platform

Which account the message came from recorded against every enquiry and every signed project, reported monthly against the baseline.

Result: You find out whether Behance has ever brought a fee.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for branding and graphic design studios

  1. 1

    Assess

During the free audit we review where your last projects came from, how quotes were decided, how many revision rounds each took, and which clients came back.

  2. 2

    Package the work

Scoped packages, a paid discovery stage and a revision policy written down before the next quote goes out.

  3. 3

    Rebuild the portfolio

Case pages grouped by project type, with the brief and thinking behind each piece.

  4. 4

    Grow referrals

Partner relationships with architects, interior designers, printers and incubators, tracked so none go quiet.

  5. 5

    Keep the client

A handover conversation and retainer offer so the next brochure, pack or signboard comes back to the studio.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post client work before the launch?
Only with the client's written agreement, settled at the proposal stage. Blur the name until launch.
How often should a small studio post?
One project a month, written properly. A daily schedule dies in project week.
How do we justify our fee against cheap online logos?
Show what the fee buys beyond the file. A cheap logo comes with no trademark check, no guidelines and no artwork sized for the signboard. A scoped package lists those lines, so the founder sees what the gig-site price leaves out.
Should we check trademarks before presenting a name?
Yes, at least a basic public search of the trademark registry in the client's class. Add a note that a formal search and filing belong with a trademark attorney. It saves the client from falling in love with a name they cannot protect.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
