E-commerce · Collectibles
A child wants one card and the listing sells a box of fifty.
Card sellers have two kinds of customer on one page. A child who has seen a card on YouTube and wants that exact card, and a parent who is paying and wants to know what is being bought. The adult collector knows the set, the card number and the edition and will not look at a listing that names none of them.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Trading card e-commerce is the online sale of single cards, sealed packs and boxes of collectible card games and sports or film cards, bought by children, teenagers and adult collectors who check the set, the card number and the condition. GullySales works on single-card catalogues that can be searched, on condition and language labels, and on selling to parents without losing the older collector.
Stock turns over fast. New sets arrive, a card becomes popular, and the listing that was correct last month is out of date. A shop that updates by hand falls behind.

Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell trading cards online.
- Sellers of single cards from collectible card games, listed by set and number
- Shops selling sealed packs, booster boxes and starter decks
- Sports and film card sellers dealing in cricket, football or cinema cards
- Instagram sellers who run pack openings and sell the cards live
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- A seller who tells a buyer a sealed pack will contain a particular card
- A shop that sells proxies or counterfeits as the real thing
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of trading cards.
Set, number and edition
The buyer looks for the card by its name, the set it came from and the number printed at the bottom. A card without that is a guess.
Condition grades
Collectors use near mint, lightly played and similar grades, judged by corners, edges, surface and centring. Photographs of both sides and the corners settle the question, or fail to.
Language and print run
Whether a card is in English or Japanese, first edition or a later printing, matters to the buyer and changes the price.
Sealed against single
A parent buying a gift picks sealed packs for the surprise, and a player who needs a card for a deck wants the single.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell trading cards online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“People do not trust that our cards are real”
Fake cards circulate widely, and a buyer comparing you with an unknown marketplace seller wants a reason to believe in you.
“Our listing is out of date the moment a new set drops”
Prices, stock and demand shift when a set is released. Slow updating leaves cards you no longer have on display, or hides new ones.
“Parents ask what is inside before they pay”
A parent who sees a pack at a price asks if it is a real product and suitable for a child, and wants an answer in plain words.
The scope
The work we would propose for trading cards.
Measured on purchases, conversion rate, cost to win a customer, average order value and repeat purchases. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- A single-card catalogueCards listed by name, set, number, language and condition, with the front and back shown, in a form buyers can filter.
- Search for the card and the setPages for each popular set and each card people search by name, kept current as new sets are released.
- Live selling and pack openingsA plan for Instagram and YouTube sessions where cards are opened and sold, with the order handling that follows.
- A parent's guideA page on what a booster pack is, what age it suits, what the seller can promise about the contents and what not, written for a parent.
- Buyer lists by gameBuyers grouped by the card game they play, messaged when a new set or a wanted card comes in.
What we do
What you get for trading cards.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A card photography standard
Front, back and corners under even light, so the condition a buyer sees matches the condition they receive.
A condition and language key
A one-page explanation of the grades and print terms you use, shown on each listing.
A release-day checklist
What to update, post and message when a new set drops.
A page for parents
What is in a pack, which age it suits and what the seller promises, set beside the products they are likely to buy.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

Selling in India and abroad
Selling trading cards beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Language and edition abroad
Overseas collectors want the card in a specific language and print. Overseas buyers will buy on your own store if you ship cards protected in sleeves and top-loaders.
Small parcels, careful claims
Cards post easily, but customs treatment varies, and some marketplaces restrict listings. Your shipper and the platform's terms are checked before you list for overseas buyers.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
