GullySales

E-commerce · Wearable Technology

The buyer knows the exact model of their watch and wants to know if our strap fits it.

Wearable accessories orders are small, frequent and brand-specific. The buyer arrives with a model name, usually typed exactly as printed on the back of the watch, and leaves if the page does not mention it. Rubber against steel and the lug width matter less than the answer to 'will it fit mine'.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Wearable accessories are straps, chargers, screen guards, cases and bands made to fit particular watches, trackers and rings. GullySales works on the compatibility tables that decide these orders, the search traffic that starts from a model name, and the way a low-value order is turned into a basket with more than one item in it.

The risk is a wrong-fit return on an order that did not earn much to start with.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell wearable accessories online.

  • Sellers of straps and bands for the watches that sell in the largest numbers in India
  • Makers of screen guards, cases and chargers for common models
  • Marketplace sellers with a large catalogue and a returns problem from wrong fit
  • Watch brands that want accessories to carry their own customers into a second purchase

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A seller who cannot list the exact models a strap or charger fits
  • Anyone selling counterfeit chargers or cases that imitate a brand's logo

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of wearable accessories.

  1. The model name and the lug width

Straps are bought by watch model or by lug width in millimetres, and the buyer needs the page to state which. A strap that fits a 22 mm lug does not fit a 20 mm one.

  2. Material and feel

Silicone, nylon, leather, stainless steel mesh, metal link. People look at the clasp, the thickness and how the strap handles sweat, which photographs and reviews have to show.

  3. Charger type and cable length

A magnetic charger is specific to a watch model, and the cable's USB type matters. A buyer checks for compatibility before price.

  4. Price against the original

Branded straps are costly, and third-party ones are compared against them. The buyer wants the saving to feel safe, so reviews showing a decent fit matter.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell wearable accessories online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “Half our returns say 'does not fit'”

The listing named one watch in the title and ten in the description. A buyer with the eleventh model ordered anyway.

  • “We sell a lot of straps but nobody orders two”

A buyer who likes changing straps does so for different outfits, but nothing on the page or after the order suggests a second colour.

  • “Big sellers undercut us on the same screen guard”

A screen guard looks like every other screen guard, and the buyer sorts by price. Without an angle, the only lever left is a lower price.

What we do

What you get for wearable accessories.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A model-by-model compatibility sheet

Every strap, charger and guard against the watches it fits, kept in one place and used on listings, WhatsApp replies and the website.

  2. Lug-width and size diagrams

A picture showing where to measure on the watch, so that a buyer with an unusual model can check before they order.

  3. Photographs on the wrist

A set of images of each strap on a small and a large wrist, with the clasp shown closed and open.

  4. A bundle map

Which items are offered together for which model, and at which step of the order they appear.

How the result is measured

  • Purchases
  • Conversion rate
  • Average order value
  • Repeat purchase rate
  • Return rate
  • Returns for wrong fit

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your catalogue with the exact models each item fits
  • Returns marked 'does not fit' and the models involved
  • Your best-selling straps and chargers
  • Marketplace listings and their variants
  • Customer questions about models you do not yet cover

Selling in India and abroad

Selling wearable accessories beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. Models differ by region

A watch sold in India may have a different model number from the same watch in the US or Europe. Compatibility tables built on Indian model names need checking before a listing goes abroad.

  2. Small parcels, duty and returns

Low-value parcels cost relatively more to send and to take back. Etsy and eBay suit a seller with a distinctive strap design. For a plain accessory, local fulfilment would be the issue, so the first step is to see which countries already order.

FAQ

Questions about selling wearable accessories online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I reduce returns from wrong fit?
Make the model the first choice on the page, not a note in the description. A selector that does not let the buyer add to cart before choosing the watch stops most mistakes. The remaining returns usually come from a few models you can find in your data.
Is it worth selling straps for a watch brand I have no relationship with?
It can be, because buyers search by model. But you depend on that brand's pricing and its next launch, so keep a range for more than one. Using the brand's name in titles has rules on trademarks, so check with your adviser.
How do I get a second order from someone who bought a strap?
Ask what they wear it with, then offer a second colour or a different material by message once the first has arrived. A buyer who has just had a good experience will look. We time it from your own repeat data.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so
