Coaching centres and tutors · Apartment advertising

Reach the mother in the lift, in the four societies your batch walks from.

Apartment advertising puts a coaching centre inside the societies its students live in: a lift panel, the notice board at the gate, a Sunday stall near the play area. GullySales gets written permission from each association first, then runs the stall in the weeks after results, when parents are deciding.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What apartment advertising means

Apartment advertising is media and activity inside residential communities: the notice board, the lift panel, a Sunday stall. GullySales gets the association's written permission first, because anything put up without it comes down.

For coaching centres and tutors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A batch fills from walking distance”

Parents pick a centre the child reaches without a long auto ride after school. Four buildings around yours matter more than forty across the city.

  • “The lift panel is read by the person who decides”

The mother going down at half past seven with a school bag and coming up again in the evening. A month of that is how a name reaches the society group, where the real recommendation happens.

  • “Sunday morning, never Tuesday”

A weekday stall in a residential society meets a watchman and a delivery rider. Parents are at work. The hours worth booking are Sunday morning and the evening play hour.

  • “The fortnight after results is the window”

Board and entrance results decide next year's batches, and the society media has to be up before them. A panel booked in July advertises a batch that already closed.

What we do

What we deliver for coaching centres and tutors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Society list by walking and auto distance

The buildings your current students already come from, plus the ones inside the same distance, checked against where your evening batches empty out to.

Result: Money goes to the buildings a batch can actually fill from.

  2. Written permission before anything prints

Each association or facility manager agreeing the format, the position and the period on paper, since plenty allow the notice board and nothing more.

Result: You print forty panels because forty buildings said yes.

  3. Panel artwork a parent reads in four floors

The class or the exam, the batch start date, the walking distance from that gate and one number. No syllabus and no faculty list.

Result: The panel answers what a parent wanted to know.

  4. A Sunday stall with something to book

A diagnostic test slot, a doubt-clearing desk or a demo class, staffed by a teacher rather than a promoter, at the hour families are home.

Result: Names come from parents who actually spoke to somebody.

  5. One number and one form for societies

A WhatsApp line on the panels, a demo booking page used in this campaign alone, and the building written on every admission form.

Result: You can see which society sent the batch.

  6. Dated photographs and reporting

A picture of every panel in place, then demo bookings and admissions by building, read against the baseline recorded before the campaign.

Result: Buildings that sent nobody come off the list next term.

How the result is measured

  • Communities covered
  • Permissions in writing
  • Enquiries quoting the community code

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it is bought, and approved

A coaching centre should know who signs, which formats are allowed and what proof comes back before paying for a slot.

Who signs for the society
Usually the managing committee, through the secretary. In a building the builder still runs, it is the facility office. Ask which one signs and keep the yes on the association's own letterhead.
Panel, board or stall, asked separately
Many societies allow the notice board but refuse stalls, or the reverse. Ask for each format by name and write down which one you are paying for before any artwork is made.
Slot dates against the exam calendar
Ask when the slot starts and ends and whether it can move. A panel that comes down before board results are out, or a stall in an exam week, wastes the booking.
Proof that the panel was displayed
Ask for a dated photograph of the panel in place and, for a stall, the signed entry sheet from the gate. File both with the permission letter.
A way to trace a parent to a society
Give each society its own WhatsApp number or a word a parent quotes at the demo class, and write the society's name on the enquiry sheet during the first call.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the apartment advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Draw the ring

We agree how far a resident will realistically come to you. For a salon that is two or three societies. For a diagnostic centre it is the whole main road.

  2. 2

    Shortlist and verify the societies

Which are self-managed and which are under a facility company, who the gatekeeper is, what categories they allow, and what they charge on their own account.

  3. 3

    Get permission and quote properly

Permission letters are collected first. Only then do you see a rate, and it includes the society fee rather than surprising you with it later.

  4. 4

    Print, install and audit

Artwork goes to each format's exact size, installation is scheduled with the facility manager, and every lobby is photographed with a date.

  5. 5

    Run the activity

The clubhouse weekend is booked inside the display month, when your name is already on the wall of the lift they came down in.

  6. 6

    Read it society by society

Calls and walk-ins are counted per code and the list is cut. Two societies usually carry a campaign and four carry nothing.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will an association let a coaching centre advertise inside?
Some will, some refuse commercial media outright, and some charge their own fee or permit the notice board alone. We ask each one in writing and build the campaign from the list that agreed. Anyone offering you a hundred buildings in one package has not asked them.
What does the stall actually do?
It books something. A diagnostic test next Saturday, a demo class, or fifteen minutes with the teacher about a child's last unit test. A table of brochures collects nothing, and the people who stop at it are on their way to the shop.
How do we know which society an admission came from?
The admission form asks and the front desk writes it down. A lift panel keeps no record of who read it and the association will not tell you either. What we report is demo bookings and admissions against the buildings that were live.
Can we put the fee and batch timings on the board?
Often yes, but ask the committee first, because some boards bar prices. Timings and the exam name are what a parent reads. If prices are barred, print a number for the fee sheet instead. Do not put up results you cannot show with the student's own consent.
One society already has tuition teachers in the clubhouse. Should we still go in?
Ask the committee whether any teacher holds an exclusive arrangement. If not, a board is still allowed. Build the board around a subject or exam the resident teachers do not cover, so a parent sees a choice and not a rival.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
