International schools · Local SEO

Show up when a family near the campus searches for a school with a visit.

Local SEO for an international school makes the campus easy to find on maps and in nearby searches, for the families who will come and see it. GullySales sets up the Google Business Profile, the directory listings and the location pages that tell a parent how to reach you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For international schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A parent checks the map before booking a visit”

Before a campus tour, a parent opens the map to see how far the school is from home or the office. A profile with the wrong pin, no entrance guidance or a closed-for-ever label stops a visit that was already half decided.

  • “Relocating families need the neighbourhood explained”

A family new to the city does not know which areas sit near the campus or how the commute works. A location page that names the roads, residential areas and transport links answers the question that decides whether the school is practical.

  • “Reviews on the profile are read as a verdict”

A parent scrolls through what other families wrote about the office, the tour and the replies. A profile with unanswered messages looks neglected, and reviews should be answered politely without discussing any child.

  • “Photographs show the campus the website only describes”

Families abroad cannot visit, so profile photographs of classrooms, laboratories and playgrounds stand in for the walk-through. Old or generic pictures send the wrong message about a campus that has since changed.

What we do

What we deliver for international schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and review

Name, business type, address, hours, entrance pin, admissions contact and service area checked, with a clear description of what the school offers.

Result: Your profile shows the right pin, hours and admissions contact.

  2. Location and directions page

A page describing the campus address, nearby residential areas, transport options and where visitors enter and park.

Result: A visitor can plan the trip from one page.

  3. Directory and portal listing consistency

The school's name, address and phone details made identical across education directories, maps and other listings.

Result: Every listing carries the same address and contact details.

  4. A reply routine for reviews and profile questions

A short guide for the office on answering reviews and questions politely, with no mention of any pupil or family by name.

Result: Each review has a courteous reply from a named office role.

  5. A photograph plan for the profile

A list of which spaces to photograph, kept current as the campus changes, with permission handled for any image showing children.

Result: The profile shows the campus as it stands now.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We serve families from abroad. Why does local search matter?
Those families still choose a school in a place. They search the city, check the map and read the profile before booking a video tour. A correct local presence supports both the visit and the call.
Should we ask parents for reviews?
You can invite feedback politely, but do not offer gifts or fee concessions for reviews. Platform rules change, so check the platform's current rules, and take advice on what the rules for schools in your state allow.
Do we need a profile for each campus?
If the school runs more than one campus with its own address, each one needs its own profile and location page. A shared profile sends parents to the wrong gate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
