Management colleges · Local SEO

Make the campus easy to find for the family planning a visit.

Local SEO for a management college is how the campus appears on maps and in local searches when a candidate or a parent looks for a business school nearby. GullySales sets up and maintains the listings, location pages and consistent details that those searches draw on.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For management colleges

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The campus visit is where the decision shifts”

A candidate with offers from several colleges cannot separate them on paper, so the family travels. If the map pin sits at the wrong gate or the listing shows the wrong hours, the visit starts with a phone call asking for directions.

  • “Parents search for the place, the hostel and the route”

A parent from another city searches for the college by area, then for hostels and transport nearby. Pages that answer where to stay and how to reach the campus keep that parent on your site instead of on a forum.

  • “One institution, several names”

The trust name, the college name and the programme name appear differently across listings, directories and old press notes. A search engine reads these as separate places. A single spelling, repeated everywhere, tells it they are one campus.

  • “A review is public and permanent”

Candidates and parents read reviews on the map listing before they read the website. Replies are visible to all. A courteous reply that answers the point, without defensiveness, is read by the next family as well as the reviewer.

What we do

What we deliver for management colleges.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A complete Google Business Profile for the campus

Name, address, entrance, hours, programme list, photos and a link to the admissions page are set out and kept current.

Result: The listing matches the site and the signboard.

  2. A campus visit page

Route by road and public transport, the gate to use, parking, who to ask for and what the visit includes.

Result: A family can plan the day without phoning the front desk.

  3. Consistent name and address across listings

Directories and education portals are checked for the college's name, address and links, and corrected where they differ.

Result: Every listing spells the institution the same way.

  4. A reply guide for reviews

A short guide sets out who replies, in what tone and which matters move to a private call.

Result: Reviews receive a considered reply from a named role.

  5. Pages for nearby areas and student housing

Plain pages describe the area, hostel options your office can confirm and travel from nearby localities.

Result: Searches for the area around the campus lead to your site.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these management colleges.

  • PGDM institutes run by a trust
  • MBA departments inside a university
  • Autonomous business schools attached to an engineering college
  • BBA and BMS colleges feeding into an MBA
  • Executive and weekend MBA programmes for working professionals
  • Colleges with specialisations in HR, finance, marketing or business analytics
  • Business schools with a strong family-business or entrepreneurship stream
  • Newer management colleges still building a recruiter list

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does a business school need a map listing?
Yes, if families visit. The listing is what appears when someone searches for the college by name or for colleges nearby, and it carries the phone, the route and the reviews.
Can we ask students to leave reviews?
Platforms have their own rules on asking for reviews, and rules on advertising by educational institutions differ by state and body. Check the platform's current rules and your own adviser before running any request.
We have two campuses. How should they be listed?
Each campus gets its own listing with its own address, phone and programme list, and its own visit page. Do not merge them, or families will arrive at the wrong gate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
