State board schools · Social media

Show parents the classroom, the event and the teacher on the platforms they already use.

Social media marketing for a state board school means showing, in photographs and short posts, what happens in the school day for parents who have never visited. GullySales works on what to post, in which language, and how the office replies to messages that arrive from it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For state board schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Parents want to see the day, not a slogan”

A post that says 'excellence in education' tells a parent nothing. A photograph of the Class 6 science practical, with a line on what the children did, tells them something checkable and kind.

  • “Children's photographs need the family's consent”

A school holds photographs of pupils. Before any is posted, the family's written consent and the management's policy decide whether it goes up. Some schools hold a consent slip at admission for this.

  • “A page in one language loses half the town”

If the school teaches in the regional language and in English, a page written only in one reaches only one set of families. Posts in both, kept short, cost the office little.

  • “Messages arrive on the page and go unanswered”

A parent who sends a question to the school page expects a reply the way a shop would give one. An unanswered message reads as an unanswered phone. Someone at the school should be named to look after it.

What we do

What we deliver for state board schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built on school events

Annual day, sports day, science exhibition, field visit and festival, planned as posts before and after each.

Result: The year's events are on a list, each with the post that goes with it.

  2. A consent slip and photograph rule

A simple form and a rule for which photographs may be posted and which may not.

Result: Every photograph of a pupil has a signed slip behind it.

  3. Two-language posting

Short posts in the home language and in English, written once and checked by a speaker of each.

Result: The same notice reads the same in both languages.

  4. A message reply routine

A named person, a few standard replies and a rule for passing admissions questions to the front office.

Result: A parent who writes to the page is answered by someone who knows the school.

  5. Teacher and subject spotlights

Posts that introduce a teacher or a subject room, with the teacher's agreement.

Result: A parent can put a name and a face to a class they are considering.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should the school use?
The one the parents in your town already open. For the families in your town that means WhatsApp first, then a school page on Facebook or Instagram. Choose one and keep it current before opening another.
Can we post results of toppers?
Only with the student's and family's consent, with the year and the number of students it covers stated, and under your state's advertising rules. Check the wording with your management.
Who should run the page?
A staff member who knows the school and can reach the head for approval. GullySales prepares the plan and the drafts, and the school decides what goes up.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
