Tennis academies · Buyer persona

Know the parent, the adult player and the office booker before writing a line.

A buyer persona for a tennis academy is a written description of each kind of person who books, covering what they ask, what worries them and what makes them say yes. GullySales works on building those descriptions from your own enquiries and the first conversations.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For tennis academies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The parent of a beginner buys patience and safety”

This buyer wants a coach who is kind to a nervous child and a court that is not crowded. They ask about ratio, age grouping and who looks after the child between drills, and they leave if the answers are vague.

  • “The tournament family buys a route forward”

This buyer asks which events the academy enters, who the coach has trained and how a player moves up a level. They compare academies on record and structure and will accept a longer drive for the right one.

  • “The adult player buys a slot that fits a calendar”

Early morning or late evening, near home or work, with a group at the same level. Price matters less than whether the hour is reliable, because a missed session costs more than the fee.

  • “The office booker buys reliability for others”

A person booking courts for colleagues cares that the slot is held, the invoice is clean and the staff turn up. One bad booking ends the arrangement, and a smooth one brings the next team.

What we do

What we deliver for tennis academies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page sheet per buyer

What they ask, what worries them, the words they use and the next step that suits them.

Result: Everyone answering enquiries works from the same picture.

  2. An objection list with written replies

The ratio, the distance, the coach's record, the fee structure and the schedule, answered in your own words.

Result: The hard questions have ready, honest answers.

  3. A first-call script that sorts the buyer

Questions that reveal within the call whether the caller is a parent, a player or a booker.

Result: The right reply goes to the right person.

  4. A message set for each persona

Pages, WhatsApp replies and follow-ups written in the voice that buyer responds to.

Result: A parent and an office booker no longer receive the same message.

  5. A review of past enquiries against the sheets

Your recent enquiries sorted by persona to show who actually comes.

Result: You see which buyer the academy already serves best.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a persona for every kind of player?
Start with the few who book most: junior beginner, competitive family, adult player and corporate booker. Add another only when enquiries show a group that fits none of them.
Where does the information come from?
From your enquiry records, the questions the front desk is asked and short conversations with current families. We write nothing the academy cannot recognise from its own experience.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
