Home loan providers · Local SEO

Make each branch the first loan office a buyer in that locality finds.

Local SEO for a home loan provider covers the Maps listing, branch page and locality search results that a borrower sees when looking for a loan office nearby. GullySales works on one accurate record for each branch and on the pages that connect it to the localities it serves.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For home loan providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The borrower wants a person near the project”

A buyer who has chosen a flat in a locality wants a loan officer who knows that locality's builders and societies. A listing that shows only a head office address tells the buyer nobody nearby will take the file.

  • “Branch details drift apart”

A phone number changes at the branch, the website keeps the old one, and a directory shows a third. The borrower rings a dead line and moves on. One master record, copied to every listing, stops this.

  • “Documents are a local matter”

A society's old khata, a ward's land records and a city's valuation habits shape what a branch can accept. Say so on the branch page, because the buyer searches for exactly that.

  • “Reviews arrive from a regulated business”

A review on a lending branch needs careful handling, since reply wording and any request for reviews fall under your compliance rules. Settle the reply approach with your compliance head before replying to anything.

What we do

What we deliver for home loan providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Branch record audit

Name, address, phone, timings and business type on Maps, the website and directories, compared line by line and corrected to one master record.

Result: Every listing for a branch shows the same details.

  2. Branch page for each office

A page per branch with the localities served, the projects nearby, a document checklist and a named contact.

Result: A buyer sees what that branch accepts before ringing.

  3. Locality pages

Pages for the neighbourhoods and towns around each branch, written from what the branch actually sees there.

Result: A search with a locality name finds a page about that locality.

  4. Maps listing set-up

Photos of the branch front, the opening hours, the services and the questions people ask, entered on each listing.

Result: The listing answers the first three questions a caller would ask.

  5. Review reply guide

A short note agreed with your compliance head on how branches thank, answer and escalate reviews.

Result: Branch staff reply in one agreed way.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a Maps listing for every branch?
Each branch that meets borrowers should have its own listing, because a borrower searches near the project. Listings for offices that never receive visitors may follow different platform rules, so check the platform's current rules before adding them.
Can the branch ask borrowers for reviews?
Check with your compliance head first. Advertising and conduct rules for lenders differ and change. If your team permits it, we set up a plain way to ask after a file closes, and we never script the wording of the review.
What if two branches serve the same locality?
Then each branch page names the projects and streets it handles, so the two pages do not compete. The borrower is sent to the nearer branch, and the register records which one took the file.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
