Home loan providers · Search engine optimisation

Show up when a buyer types home loan with a town or a situation in it.

SEO for a home loan provider is the work of making your pages appear when a borrower searches for a loan by city, locality, property type or borrower situation. GullySales works on pages that answer those searches and on keeping every rate and eligibility statement in one place your compliance team controls.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For home loan providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “National names fill the first screen”

A borrower typing home loan in a town meets large banks and comparison sites first. A regional lender cannot outspend them, so it competes where they are thin: the locality, the resale flat, the plot loan, the old-society paperwork.

  • “Search words follow the borrower's worry”

A first-time buyer asks which documents are needed. A shopkeeper asks whether a loan is possible without a salary slip. A borrower on another bank's loan asks how a transfer works. Each worry is a page waiting to be written.

  • “A stale rate on a page is a risk”

An old interest rate left online misleads the reader and invites a complaint. Rates belong on one page that your team updates, with other pages pointing to it instead of repeating the figure.

  • “Branch pages rank on detail”

A branch listing with a real address, a working phone line and a checklist link beats a page that says only that loans are available. Each branch is a separate search result.

What we do

What we deliver for home loan providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search map of loan questions

A list of the searches by borrower type, property stage and locality that your branches could answer, sorted by the ones you have no page for.

Result: You can see which questions have no page on your site.

  2. Borrower-type and locality pages

Written pages for each type and for the towns your branches serve, with a document checklist and a branch contact.

Result: Each page answers one question completely.

  3. One rate page

A single page for interest rates and charges, owned by your compliance team, which every other page links to.

Result: A rate changes in one place only.

  4. Technical clean-up

Titles, page speed on a phone, structured data for branches and a sitemap, checked against what search engines read.

Result: The site reads cleanly on a phone and to a search crawler.

  5. Search visibility check

A list of the phrases you appear for, against the ones you want, written plainly.

Result: You can see where you stand without a vendor's dashboard.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO put us above the large banks?
No promise of ranking is possible. Search results change and large banks hold strong positions. We aim at searches where a regional lender can answer better, such as a locality, a resale flat or a plot loan.
Can we publish our eligibility rules on the site?
Yes, in the words your compliance head approves. Advertising rules for lenders differ by regulator and change, so check each page with your own adviser. We write the page and your team signs it off before it goes live.
How is SEO different from our branch Maps listings?
Maps listings serve a borrower looking for a nearby branch. SEO serves the borrower still researching documents, eligibility or transfers. Both need the same address and phone details, which is why we keep them in one record.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
