NBFCs · Local SEO

Make each branch the lender a borrower finds when they search near me.

Local SEO for an NBFC is the work of getting every branch to appear on the map for borrowers searching nearby, with the right address, hours and phone line. GullySales works on the branch listings, the reviews and the branch-level enquiry record behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For NBFCs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A borrower may want a counter, not a website”

The gold loan customer and the small trader want to see an office and a person before they hand over anything. The map result is the first branch visit, and it happens on a phone before anyone walks in.

  • “Branch listings decay without an owner”

A branch that moved lanes, changed hours or closed still shows its old address. The borrower arrives at a shuttered door and tells others, so the stale listing costs more than having none.

  • “Lender names get confused”

Customers search the company name plus a town and meet a similarly named lender, a recovery agent or an unrelated finance shop. Each branch needs a name, category and address that leave no doubt which lender it is.

  • “Reviews on a lender are about people at the counter”

A borrower reads about whether staff explained the charges and returned the papers. The review reply is read by the next borrower as a sample of how complaints are handled.

What we do

What we deliver for NBFCs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One verified listing per branch

Every branch claimed, with correct name, address, hours and a phone line that is answered.

Result: Each branch appears with details that match the door.

  2. A listing audit of existing entries

Duplicates, closed branches and wrong pins found and fixed or reported for removal.

Result: The map shows only branches that exist.

  3. Services and documents on each listing

The loan products the branch handles and the documents to carry, in plain words.

Result: A visitor arrives knowing what to bring.

  4. A review request at the counter

A card or link handed over after service is complete, with a reply routine for complaints about charges or conduct.

Result: Recent reviews come from people who visited.

  5. Branch-level call and direction counts

The calls and direction requests each listing records, kept beside branch enquiry records.

Result: You can compare branches on the same footing.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can head office run all listings?
Yes, head office can. Branch staff still need to answer the number shown and keep hours current, so we agree who updates what when a branch changes.
Should we ask borrowers for reviews?
Ask every borrower, not only the happy ones, and never offer anything in return. Lending is a regulated trade, so check review practice with your compliance head or adviser.
We have a few branches only. Is it worth it?
Yes. Few branches means each listing carries more of your local visibility, and a wrong address on one of them is a larger share of what borrowers see.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
