NBFCs · Search engine optimisation

Be the answer when a borrower searches for the loan they need.

SEO for an NBFC is the work of making your loan pages the ones that appear when a borrower searches for a product, a city or a question about eligibility. GullySales works on the pages, the search terms each product deserves and the trust signals a lending site has to carry.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For NBFCs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The borrower searches the need, not your company name”

A shopkeeper types a phrase about stock finance or a machinery loan before they know any lender. If your site has one page called Loans, you never appear for the separate needs behind that word.

  • “Comparison sites own the first screen”

Aggregators and bank pages fill the top results for broad loan terms. An NBFC wins on narrower pages: a product for a specific trade, city or vehicle, where it can say something the big sites do not.

  • “A lending site is judged on trust before it is read”

The borrower looks for the registered name, the registered office, the grievance contact and clear terms. A site missing these loses the visit even when the page ranks, and search systems treat money pages with extra care.

  • “Old pages quietly mislead”

A product page that still describes a scheme you have withdrawn, or an eligibility line you changed, brings in enquiries you will decline. Stale content is a cost, not a harmless leftover.

What we do

What we deliver for NBFCs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A search map by product and place

The terms borrowers use for each loan type and each town you serve, grouped into pages that each answer one need.

Result: Every product has a page matched to a real search.

  2. Product pages written for one borrower each

A page for the two-wheeler buyer, one for the small trader, one for the gold loan walk-in, with eligibility, documents and the next step.

Result: A visitor sees their own situation on the first screen.

  3. A trust block on every money page

Registered name, office address, regulator registration details you supply and the grievance route, placed where a borrower looks.

Result: The site shows who you are before it asks for a phone number.

  4. A clean-up of old and duplicate pages

Withdrawn products removed or redirected, and pages that repeat each other merged.

Result: Search shows only what you currently offer.

  5. A page-speed and mobile check

The loan form and key pages tested on a mid-range phone and a slow connection.

Result: The form loads where your borrowers actually use it.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will SEO get us to the first position?
No one can promise a position. Search results change and competitors move. We work on pages, trust signals and content that deserve to be found, and report what the search tools show.
Can we publish interest rates on the site?
That is a compliance decision. Rules on loan disclosures differ by product and change, so your compliance head or adviser should clear any rate, fee or eligibility line before it goes live.
Do we need a blog?
Only where it answers a question a borrower asks before applying, such as which documents a loan needs. A blog written to fill space adds pages without adding enquiries.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
