Garage door companies · Email marketing

The door you repaired six years ago is an email from being replaced.

Email in this trade is how you reach a customer years later, when the door you once repaired is ready for replacement. GullySales builds that list out of your job records, writes the tune-up and replacement mails, and keeps property managers and agents on a separate one.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For garage door companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your customer list is sitting in the field software

Every job in ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro carries the address, the door, the opener and the date. Nobody exports it, so a repair from six years ago is never spoken to again.

  • Email carries the long follow-up that texting cannot

Texting a homeowner for months needs consent and a registered number, and it wears out fast. Mail lets a replacement quote come back in the spring without anybody being annoyed.

  • The trade list is a different list

Property managers, builders and agents want a price sheet, a service agreement and a name to call. Writing to them as though they were homeowners is why they stop opening.

  • Before winter is the one send everybody reads

A tune-up and safety check offer, sent before the first freeze to people whose doors you already know, fills the quiet weeks. It also finds the doors ready to be replaced.

What we do

What we deliver for garage door companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A customer list pulled from the field software

Every past job exported with the address, the door, the opener, the parts fitted and the date, cleaned up and kept current.

Result: You can reach people whose doors you already know.

  2. A pre-winter tune-up mail

A safety check and lubrication offer at a set price, sent before the first freeze to customers whose doors you have worked on.

Result: The slow weeks book up with familiar addresses.

  3. A replacement follow-up series

Mails spaced across the months a homeowner asked you to come back in, carrying the photograph of their own door and the quote.

Result: The quote is still in front of them in the spring.

  4. A separate list for the trade

Property managers, builders, agents and complexes, with the price sheet, the service agreement and a named contact.

Result: Commercial work is asked for on a schedule.

  5. Consent and unsubscribe handled properly

Permission recorded at the job, an unsubscribe link in every send, and bounced addresses cleared out each quarter.

Result: Your mail keeps arriving in inboxes.

  6. Replies routed to dispatch

Answers to any send landing with the desk that books jobs, with a rule for how quickly they are worked.

Result: A reply becomes an appointment the same day.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these garage door companies.

  • Residential repair and service companies running one to five trucks
  • Garage door dealers with a showroom
  • Opener and smart-opener specialists
  • Commercial door companies working rolling steel and dock equipment
  • New construction installers working for homebuilders
  • Spring and cable repair specialists
  • Custom carriage and wood door builders
  • Franchise locations that need local work beyond the brand's leads

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for garage door companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we listen to a week of your calls. How many rang out, what the price question did to them, and how many replacement quotes were ever sent?

  2. 2

    Win the first call

A dispatcher script that gets past what a spring costs, an arrival window offered every time, and our team taking the overflow in agreed hours.

  3. 3

Sell the door above the repair

A replacement quote sent from the van, a finance option on it, and a follow-up schedule that runs for months.

  4. 4

    Fill the trucks

Local Services Ads, the map pack, reviews collected technician by technician, and replacement advertising where the doors are failing.

  5. 5

    Come back in a year

Tune-up reminders, safety checks and replacement offers to every customer whose door you have already worked on.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is email better than texting for this?
For anything longer than a job update, yes. Texts suit arrival windows and reminders, and sending campaigns by text at volume brings consent and registration requirements your attorney should look at. Mail carries the seasonal offer and the replacement follow-up without that.
What do we send to property managers?
A price sheet, a service agreement and one contact who answers the phone. They are buying predictability rather than a deal, so the mail that works is short, dated and repeated twice a year.
Should we give a price over the phone?
Give a range and a reason, never a flat number. A caller who hears one figure compares it with a bait advertisement from a call centre, and a caller who hears nothing dials the next company. The script gets the symptoms first, then gives a range and an arrival window.
How do we sell more new doors without a showroom?
Photograph the ones you fit. A homeowner choosing a door wants to see it on a house like theirs, not in a manufacturer's catalogue. A library of your own installations, sorted by street and style, does more than any brochure. The quote should leave with the technician, with the customer's own door in the photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
