Garage door companies · Pay per click advertising

You pay for each lead the ads block sends, answered or not.

Paid advertising in this trade is mostly Local Services Ads charged per lead, plus search ads for spring and opener work. GullySales sets the ZIP codes and the hours, disputes the leads you should not have paid for, and runs a separate, slower campaign for door replacement.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For garage door companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A lead you paid for and nobody answered is the whole problem

The charge lands whether the phone was picked up or not. Before anybody raises a budget, count the calls that rang out between eight and ten in the morning.

  • Disputes are worth the ten minutes

Wrong trade, out of area, a caller who wanted a remote battery. Each one can be reported, and a company that never bothers pays a bill nobody has checked.

  • Replacement clicks behave nothing like repair clicks

A homeowner searching insulated garage door prices is months from buying and costs less per click. Mixed into the emergency campaign, that traffic hides what either one is doing.

  • The bait price is bidding against you

Out-of-town call centres advertise a spring figure no local company can honour, then sell the job on. Your advertisement has to give a range and a reason, or it reads as the expensive one.

What we do

What we deliver for garage door companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. ZIP codes set by drive time

A service area drawn around what a truck can reach inside the arrival window you promise, with the outer ZIP codes separated so they can be judged alone.

Result: You stop paying for jobs you cannot get to.

  2. A weekly lead dispute routine

Somebody named to report wrong trade, out of area and duplicate leads every week, with the reasons given and the outcomes recorded.

Result: The bill reflects the leads you could actually work.

  3. Repair and replacement kept apart

One campaign for spring, cable and opener emergencies, another for replacement research, each with its own budget and landing page.

Result: Each kind of work is judged on its own numbers.

  4. Ad schedules matched to dispatch

Budget weighted to the hours your dispatcher is picking up, with after-hours spending held back unless somebody is on the phone.

Result: Money runs when calls get answered.

  5. A negative keyword list for this trade

Remote batteries, keypad codes, do-it-yourself repairs, parts suppliers, gate operators, job seekers and the brands you do not carry.

Result: Clicks come from people who need a truck.

  6. Call recordings read against the spend

Every advertisement call tracked, a sample listened to each week, and the count carried through booked, run and sold, beside the baseline.

Result: You know the cost of a job, not the cost of a click.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these garage door companies.

  • Residential repair and service companies running one to five trucks
  • Garage door dealers with a showroom
  • Opener and smart-opener specialists
  • Commercial door companies working rolling steel and dock equipment
  • New construction installers working for homebuilders
  • Spring and cable repair specialists
  • Custom carriage and wood door builders
  • Franchise locations that need local work beyond the brand's leads

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for garage door companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we listen to a week of your calls. How many rang out, what the price question did to them, and how many replacement quotes were ever sent?

  2. 2

    Win the first call

A dispatcher script that gets past what a spring costs, an arrival window offered every time, and our team taking the overflow in agreed hours.

  3. 3

Sell the door above the repair

A replacement quote sent from the van, a finance option on it, and a follow-up schedule that runs for months.

  4. 4

    Fill the trucks

Local Services Ads, the map pack, reviews collected technician by technician, and replacement advertising where the doors are failing.

  5. 5

    Come back in a year

Tune-up reminders, safety checks and replacement offers to every customer whose door you have already worked on.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we run search ads as well as Local Services Ads?
Yes, for different work. The ads block takes the emergency call, while search catches opener questions, cost research and replacement buyers. Keep them in separate campaigns so one does not quietly spend the other's budget.
How do we stop paying for calls from outside our area?
Tighten the ZIP codes to what a truck can reach inside the window you promise, rather than the whole county. Then dispute the out-of-area leads that still come through, every week. Most companies set the radius once and never look again.
Should we give a price over the phone?
Give a range and a reason, never a flat number. A caller who hears one figure compares it with a bait advertisement from a call centre, and a caller who hears nothing dials the next company. The script gets the symptoms first, then gives a range and an arrival window.
How do we sell more new doors without a showroom?
Photograph the ones you fit. A homeowner choosing a door wants to see it on a house like theirs, not in a manufacturer's catalogue. A library of your own installations, sorted by street and style, does more than any brochure. The quote should leave with the technician, with the customer's own door in the photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
