Garage door companies · Reputation management

Every review names a technician, including the ones you never read.

Reviews in this trade are about the person who turned up, the trip charge and whether the number changed on the driveway. GullySales puts the request at the moment the invoice closes on the tablet, ties each review to the technician, and writes the reply to a pricing complaint.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For garage door companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The complaint is nearly always the number changing

A figure given on the phone, a different one on the invoice, and a one-star review that evening. The fix belongs in the call, not in the reply written afterwards.

  • Reviews decide the ads block as well as the map

The same reviews feed both, so a month without any is a month of quietly slipping. A technician asking at the tablet collects more than any email ever sent.

  • You are mistaken for the outfits people read about

Homeowners have seen the stories about a spring quoted at one price and billed at five times it, and arrive suspicious. Answering that plainly, in your pricing and your replies, separates you from them.

What we do

What we deliver for garage door companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The request sent as the invoice closes

The technician triggers it on the tablet before leaving, so it reaches the homeowner while the door is working and the driveway is clear.

Result: Reviews arrive dated this month.

  2. Every review tied to a technician

Reviews matched to whoever ran the call, counted per person each month and read in the same meeting as the job numbers.

Result: You know who needs a ride-along.

  3. A written reply for the pricing complaint

A standard answer giving what was quoted on the call, what was found on the door and what the invoice covered, without naming the customer.

Result: The next reader sees a company that explains itself.

  4. The phone quote and the invoice reconciled

A check on how the range given on the call compares with what was billed, run over a sample of jobs each month.

Result: The complaint stops being created in the first place.

  5. Alerts across the platforms that matter here

The map profile, the ads block, the neighbourhood app and the review sites, watched weekly under your name and its misspellings.

Result: Nothing sits unanswered for a month.

  6. A monthly read of the themes

Whether complaints are about the arrival window, the trip charge, the price or the clean-up, taken to the crew rather than filed.

Result: The cause gets fixed instead of answered.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these garage door companies.

  • Residential repair and service companies running one to five trucks
  • Garage door dealers with a showroom
  • Opener and smart-opener specialists
  • Commercial door companies working rolling steel and dock equipment
  • New construction installers working for homebuilders
  • Spring and cable repair specialists
  • Custom carriage and wood door builders
  • Franchise locations that need local work beyond the brand's leads

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for garage door companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we listen to a week of your calls. How many rang out, what the price question did to them, and how many replacement quotes were ever sent?

  2. 2

    Win the first call

A dispatcher script that gets past what a spring costs, an arrival window offered every time, and our team taking the overflow in agreed hours.

  3. 3

Sell the door above the repair

A replacement quote sent from the van, a finance option on it, and a follow-up schedule that runs for months.

  4. 4

    Fill the trucks

Local Services Ads, the map pack, reviews collected technician by technician, and replacement advertising where the doors are failing.

  5. 5

    Come back in a year

Tune-up reminders, safety checks and replacement offers to every customer whose door you have already worked on.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

One technician gets every bad review. What do we do?
Tie reviews to whoever ran the call and you will see the pattern in a month rather than a year. Usually the work is fine and the explaining is not. Ride along once before deciding anything.
A competitor is leaving fake reviews. Can we get them removed?
Report them with what you have: no invoice in that name, no job at that address, the date. Platforms remove a small share, so do not build a plan on it. The stronger answer is a steady flow of recent reviews that pushes one outlier down the page.
Should we give a price over the phone?
Give a range and a reason, never a flat number. A caller who hears one figure compares it with a bait advertisement from a call centre, and a caller who hears nothing dials the next company. The script gets the symptoms first, then gives a range and an arrival window.
How do we sell more new doors without a showroom?
Photograph the ones you fit. A homeowner choosing a door wants to see it on a house like theirs, not in a manufacturer's catalogue. A library of your own installations, sorted by street and style, does more than any brochure. The quote should leave with the technician, with the customer's own door in the photograph.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
