Garment manufacturers · Lead generation

A tech pack arrives, you cost it, and then nobody speaks again.

Lead generation for a garment unit means bringing in buyers who fit your product and capacity, then holding every tech pack through costing, sampling and a decision. GullySales screens enquiries at first contact, builds the outbound list of brands, and chases each sample to a yes or a no.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For garment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The sample is where your enquiries die

A costing goes out, a sample ships, and the file closes without a word. Nobody asks the buyer why, so the unit never learns whether it was price, fit or lead time.

  • One buyer setting your rate is a lead generation problem

When most of the line runs for a single account, you cannot refuse a price cut. New buyers are how a unit earns the right to negotiate.

  • The buying agent is a channel, not something to resent

Agents place real volume and take a margin for it. Work them on purpose, with a capability profile and a costing turnaround they can rely on.

What we do

What we deliver for garment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Qualification at first contact

Product, piece count, delivery month and tech pack asked on the website, on IndiaMART and in the first WhatsApp reply, with a polite template for anyone below your minimum.

Result: Your merchandisers cost the enquiries worth costing.

  2. A tech pack to sample tracker

Every enquiry recorded through tech pack received, costing sent, sample dispatched and buyer feedback, with a follow-up date at each stage.

Result: Nothing sits waiting for somebody to remember it.

  3. A reason recorded on every lost sample

A short call or message asking the buyer what decided it, logged against the enquiry and summarised each month.

Result: You find out whether you lose on price or on silence.

  4. An outbound list of brands that fit you

D2C labels, regional retailers and exporters matched to your product, capacity and minimum, with the merchandiser or founder named against each.

Result: New buyers hear from you directly.

  5. A buying agent and sourcing office programme

A capability profile, a costing turnaround they can count on, and a contact routine with the agents placing work in your cluster.

Result: Agents bring you the enquiries that fit.

  6. One enquiry record by source and product

Every enquiry, costing, sample and order logged by source and product type, reported monthly against the audit baseline.

Result: You can watch the dependence on one buyer falling.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for garment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how much of your work comes from your top buyers, where enquiries come from, and how many costings and samples turn into orders.

  2. 2

    Show your capability

A capability profile and a compliance document set that a sourcing team can check before it visits.

  3. 3

    Fix the sample pipeline

A tracker from tech pack to costing to sample to order, with follow-up at each stage and reasons recorded when a sample is lost.

  4. 4

    Find new buyers

Outreach to D2C brands, retailers and agents that fit your product and capacity, alongside search and fair follow-up.

  5. 5

    Build repeat programmes

Trial orders turned into seasonal programmes, and off-season capacity offered before the lines go quiet.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we reach D2C brands without a middleman?
Build the list and write to them yourself. Online apparel brands in your category are findable, and the founder or merchandiser is reachable on LinkedIn and email. A capability profile and a clear minimum are what get a reply.
What should we ask before costing an enquiry?
Product, piece count, delivery month and whether a tech pack exists. Those four separate a brand from somebody exploring an idea. Costing everything that arrives is how a merchandiser loses a week.
How do we find buyers without going through a middleman?
Be findable and reach out directly. A capability profile and product pages let brands find you, and a researched list of brands that match your product lets you contact them first.
Is IndiaMART worth it for a garment unit?
It can be, if enquiries are screened quickly. Asking for the piece count and delivery month at first contact separates real buyers from price shoppers. Your merchandisers then spend their day on the right ones.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
