Garment manufacturers · Search engine optimisation

Brand founders search for a low minimum order quantity, not for a factory.

SEO for a garment unit decides who a D2C founder or a sourcing team finds when they search for a private label manufacturer in your product and your cluster. GullySales builds a page for each product you make, puts the minimum order quantity where buyers look, and gets the factory indexed.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For garment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The cluster name is half the search

Buyers type Tiruppur, Ludhiana, Bengaluru or Delhi NCR alongside the product, because the cluster tells them the fabric, the price and the lead time. A heading with no cluster in it misses that search.

  • Minimum order quantity is the filter, so publish it

A founder with a budget for three hundred pieces will not write to a unit that hides its minimum. Stating it loses only the enquiries you would have turned down.

  • One products page covering nine categories ranks for none

Knitted polos, women's kurtas, kids' wear and activewear are separate searches with separate fabric questions. A page listing all of them answers none.

What we do

What we deliver for garment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each product type you make

Knitted T-shirts and polos, shirts, bottoms, kurtas, kids' wear and activewear, each covering fabric, GSM ranges, sizes, minimum quantity and sampling time.

Result: A brand searching for its own product finds your unit.

  2. The cluster and the city in every heading

Product pages written with your cluster named where buyers type it, plus a page on sourcing from that cluster with lead times and fabric access.

Result: You appear in the search that includes the place.

  3. Minimum quantity and sampling published plainly

Your minimum by product, the sampling charge and turnaround, and what changes when fabric has to be knitted for the order.

Result: Enquiries arrive from buyers who can meet your minimum.

  4. The factory shown rather than described

Photographs and short video of cutting, stitching, printing and finishing, with machine counts and monthly capacity written beside them.

Result: A buyer gets their answer without a phone call.

  5. Technical faults cleared off the site

A slow site, heavy factory images and pages search engines cannot read properly, fixed so your product pages stand a chance.

Result: The pages you wrote become findable.

  6. A monthly report by product page

Positions, visits and enquiries for each product page, set against the baseline taken in the free audit.

Result: You can see which product deserves more pages.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for garment manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how much of your work comes from your top buyers, where enquiries come from, and how many costings and samples turn into orders.

  2. 2

    Show your capability

A capability profile and a compliance document set that a sourcing team can check before it visits.

  3. 3

    Fix the sample pipeline

A tracker from tech pack to costing to sample to order, with follow-up at each stage and reasons recorded when a sample is lost.

  4. 4

    Find new buyers

Outreach to D2C brands, retailers and agents that fit your product and capacity, alongside search and fair follow-up.

  5. 5

    Build repeat programmes

Trial orders turned into seasonal programmes, and off-season capacity offered before the lines go quiet.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do garment buyers actually use Google?
The newer ones do, constantly. D2C founders and small label owners search for a manufacturer before they ask anybody. Established brands and sourcing offices still come through agents, mills and fairs, so the site works alongside that rather than instead of it.
What should a manufacturer's website show first?
Products, capacity, minimum order quantity and sampling time. A sourcing team is checking whether you fit before it writes. Photographs of the machines and the finishing section do more than a paragraph about quality.
How do we find buyers without going through a middleman?
Be findable and reach out directly. A capability profile and product pages let brands find you, and a researched list of brands that match your product lets you contact them first.
Is IndiaMART worth it for a garment unit?
It can be, if enquiries are screened quickly. Asking for the piece count and delivery month at first contact separates real buyers from price shoppers. Your merchandisers then spend their day on the right ones.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
