Surgical hospitals · WhatsApp marketing

Answer a family's WhatsApp message the way the desk would answer a visitor.

WhatsApp marketing for a surgical hospital is using the app that families already hold open to answer enquiries, send checklists and keep referring doctors informed. GullySales sets up the business account, the saved replies and the rules on consent.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For surgical hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families send a scan photograph with a question”

A son sends a picture of a report and asks if the hospital does this surgery. A desk that replies on a personal phone, with no record, answers once and loses the thread. A business account with a named owner keeps the conversation.

  • “A message is not a medical consultation”

The family will ask what the scan means. The desk must not interpret it. A saved reply that says the surgeon will review it, and offers a call or a consultation, protects the patient and the hospital.

  • “Doctors prefer WhatsApp to email”

A referring physician sends a patient with a message and wants an answer. A shared contact for urgent referrals, answered by a person, builds the habit. Keep patient details minimal in the message and record the referral the same day.

  • “Bulk messages to people who did not ask are a risk”

Broadcasting offers to a bought list breaks the platform's rules and families' trust. Message people who enquired or consented, and give them a clear way to stop. Check the platform's current rules before any campaign.

What we do

What we deliver for surgical hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account with a catalogue of services

Profile, hours, address and a list of the operations and consultation routes, owned by the hospital.

Result: Open the profile and see the hospital's details and services.

  2. Saved replies for common questions

Replies on cost range, documents for cashless admission, consultation days and second opinions, approved by the relevant heads.

Result: The desk replies with the same wording each time.

  3. A routing rule for each message type

Planned enquiry, second opinion, referral and emergency each go to a named person, with casualty directed to call.

Result: A message about an emergency is answered with the casualty number first.

  4. A referring doctor contact

A separate number or label for urgent referrals, with a record kept of each one.

Result: Every referral message is logged against the doctor's record.

  5. A consent and opt-out routine

A record of who agreed to receive messages and a simple stop instruction in each broadcast.

Result: Anyone who says stop is removed and not messaged again.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can the desk use a personal number?
We advise against it. Conversations vanish when a person leaves, and patient details sit on a personal phone. Use a business number owned by the hospital, with named staff and a record of who replies.
Should we send scan reports through WhatsApp?
Receiving them for a surgeon's review is workable, but treat them as sensitive. Say so in the first reply, store them in your own system rather than the phone gallery, and ask your adviser about consent and retention.
Can we run a chatbot?
For routing and basic questions, yes, if a person is easily reachable. A bot should not answer clinical questions or an emergency. Test it with real family questions before it goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
