Dental clinics · Digital marketing

Spend effort on the few places that put a patient in the chair.

Digital marketing for a dental clinic is the set of places a patient meets the clinic before the first visit: Maps, search, the website, WhatsApp and review sites. GullySales works out which of these deserve effort for your treatments, and sets up the basics before any advertising is considered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 8 Nov 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For dental clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Patients meet the clinic in four places before the first call”

Maps shows the rating, search shows the treatment page, a directory such as Practo shows the dentist's profile, and WhatsApp is where the question gets asked. A gap in any one sends the patient to the clinic whose four places agree with each other.

  • “A campaign on a weak profile pays for the click and loses the call”

Advertising sends a patient to a website or a listing. If the hours are wrong, the phone rings out or the treatment page is a list of every procedure, the money buys a visit that ends without an enquiry.

  • “Emergency and planned treatments need different habits”

A toothache is a phone search settled in one call. Implants and aligners are researched across pages, profiles and quotes over days. A single plan for both either wastes effort on the long decision or loses the urgent call.

  • “The clinic across the road is not the only competitor”

Chain groups, booking apps and a hospital dental wing all appear beside a single-dentist clinic. A small clinic wins on one locality, a few named treatments and a front desk that replies, not by matching a chain's spending.

What we do

What we deliver for dental clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An audit of the four places

A written check of the Maps profile, the search results for your treatments, the website and the reply routine on phone and WhatsApp.

Result: A list of what is missing, in the order to fix it.

  2. A ranked list of priority treatments

Treatments ordered by free chair time and by whether patients search for them in your area, agreed with the dentist.

Result: Everyone at the clinic knows which treatment comes first.

  3. A channel plan with the reasons

Which channel does which job for which treatment, and which channels are left alone for now, with the reason written down.

Result: Each channel has a stated job or is left out on purpose.

  4. Basic tracking on the website and at the desk

Form submissions, call taps and WhatsApp taps counted on the website, plus a source field the front desk fills in for every enquiry.

Result: An enquiry can be traced to the place it started.

  5. A written brief for any paid campaign

The treatment, the area, the wording for the clinic to check against its council's rules, and the page the advertisement sends to.

Result: Nothing goes live before the owner has read it.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches and routes to cover

Match each channel to the question a patient asks before the first call.

dentist near me
Covered by the Business Profile, with the hours, services and photographs of the real clinic.
root canal treatment cost in [area]
Covered by a treatment page that explains the steps and what affects the price, since this is the question that ends most calls.
aligners vs braces
Covered by a comparison page written by the dentist, which meets the patient who is choosing before booking.
emergency dentist open now
Covered by a profile with accurate hours and a phone that is answered, and by a page on what to do before the visit.
[clinic name] reviews
Covered by review replies and by asking patients at the end of the visit, since patients check before they ring.

Who it is for

This is written for these dental clinics.

  • Single-dentist clinics
  • Multi-chair general dental clinics
  • Orthodontic and aligner-only practices
  • Implant and oral surgery centres
  • Cosmetic and smile-design clinics
  • Paediatric dental clinics
  • Dental clinics inside a multi-speciality centre
  • Multi-branch dental groups
  • New clinics in their first year

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The chairs are full for planned work, so extra reach would only make a longer waiting list.
  • The front desk cannot answer calls within the working day, so more channels would increase missed calls.
  • The clinic has no way to record where each enquiry came from.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to be on every channel?
No. Start with Maps, the treatment pages and the reply routine, since they catch patients who are already searching. Add social media or advertising for a particular treatment once the phone is answered and the profile is current.
Can the clinic post before and after photographs?
Rules on showing treatment results differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser before posting any. A patient photograph also needs clear written consent for that specific use. We build content around explanation and the dentist's method instead.
How will we know digital marketing is working?
Compare enquiries, calls and booked consultations by source against the figures recorded before the work began. Rankings and reviews are never promised, so we read the clinic's own record of who came and for which treatment.
Can the clinic use ads for teeth whitening and smile makeovers?
Check the platform's current rules and your dental council's advertising rules before running any, as both limit before-and-after images and outcome claims. Describe the treatment and the consultation, and leave results to the dentist. Rules differ by state, so ask your own adviser.
Which dental marketing ideas should a new clinic start with?
Complete the Maps profile, ask each patient for a review after the visit, write pages for the two treatments you want most, and print the WhatsApp number on every card. Our blog's keyword research post for dental clinics shows how to choose the wording.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
