HealthTech startups · Digital marketing

Put your search, content, ads and messages to work for the buyer you named.

Digital marketing for a HealthTech startup joins search, content, social, ads and messaging into one plan with a buyer and a booking step. GullySales picks the routes that fit the audience, sets the review step for claims and compares results against the baseline you recorded.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For HealthTech startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Three audiences need three plans under one roof”

Doctors, hospital buyers and patients respond to different channels and different words. A single campaign aimed at all three reaches none well, so the plan keeps them apart and shares the review step.

  • “Paid ads for health face tighter limits than other ads”

Platforms apply their own rules to health advertising, and medical advertising rules differ by state and body. Check the platform's current rules and your adviser's view before any spend.

  • “Cost per patient visit can exceed what the visit earns”

If an ad brings a patient for one consultation and nothing brings them back, the numbers fail. The plan looks at repeat use and recall, not only at the first enquiry.

  • “Awareness without a next step wastes the spend”

A campaign about the value of regular checks needs one booking page waiting at the end. Without it, the interest has nowhere to go.

What we do

What we deliver for HealthTech startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan by audience

A written plan choosing the routes for clinics, hospital buyers and patients, with the reason for each.

Result: Each audience has its routes and its single next step.

  2. Baseline sheet

A record of leads, pilots, enquiries and repeat use before the work starts.

Result: Later results are set beside numbers you recorded.

  3. Claims review step

A review of every ad, page and post by your adviser before it runs.

Result: Nothing goes live without a recorded review.

  4. Booking and enquiry pages

Pages for each campaign with one clear action and a statement of what the service cannot do.

Result: Each campaign points to one page with one action.

  5. Route comparison

A comparison of which routes brought buyers who stayed, not only those who enquired.

Result: You see which route led to adoption, not just to a form.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Choose channels by the audience each can reach.

telemedicine software for clinics
Search ads and a page for doctors who are already looking, which end in a pilot request.
hospital pilot for remote monitoring
An outreach sequence to hospital administrators with a pilot summary page and a named contact.
online consultation with a doctor
A patient-side plan with careful copy, as health ads face tighter limits and need a clinician's review.
healthtech meetups and medical events
A presence where clinic and hospital buyers gather, followed by a message to those who gave consent.
[competitor] alternative
A comparison page and search ad for buyers already evaluating a rival, written fairly.

Who it is for

This is written for these HealthTech startups.

  • Teleconsultation and online doctor platforms
  • Clinic and hospital management software
  • Diagnostics and home sample collection startups
  • Remote monitoring and wearable device startups
  • Mental health and counselling platforms
  • Pharmacy and medicine delivery startups
  • Health insurance claims and records startups
  • Chronic care programmes for diabetes, hypertension and heart health
  • Elder care and home nursing platforms

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The product cannot yet take more users without support problems, and paid acquisition would turn each one into a ticket.
  • You have no way to tell a buyer enquiry from a patient enquiry, so spend would be counted against the wrong audience.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small budget go first?
Where your best buyer already looks. For a startup selling to hospitals that means introductions and a clear website before paid ads, and we show the reasoning before you spend.
Can we run health ads?
Possibly, within the platform's current rules and your adviser's guidance. We prepare the copy and the pages, and you confirm what is allowed.
How do we know it worked?
By comparing results to the baseline we record at the start, including adoption and repeat use. We promise no leads or sales.
What is the first channel for a small team to test?
Start with direct outreach to clinics you can name, since the buyer is a handful of people and a search ad has few to reach. Add search once the pilot page can convert. Measure by pilot requests, not clicks.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
